Well, either way, it didn't matter in the great scheme of things right now. They all had begun their journey and Master Vargas was ever so kind enough to explain in detail the mention of Valkhound. It was an interesting term, mention of the creator- he wondered briefly if that was similar to the individual his father often spoke about...what was the name. Mother? He filed that away for later, there were evidently higher powers in and out of these caves and he'd take his time to ask Master Vargas about them should the opportunity arise.
Apparently, Valkhounds were soldiers. Formed in this nest. How quaint...now did he mean Draco or the caves in their entirety. Considering some of the gembounds he had met in his life, the chaos that spiraled and swirled with life as they breathed well... he wasn't too sure but he felt the answer wouldn't surprise him. Diot wasn't entirely sure how to feel about everything else that was mentioned. Fiends and beasts, words that often explained creatures of unusual appearance or origin- so perhaps Valkhounds were true in that name The Levithan was one. Still, Diot held a bit of an ache whenever such words were used on living individuals, especially those who may yet deserve such. He'd take care not to call anyone by those, especially the Valkhounds. He always took care to offer a fair shake and hand to those regardless of their appearance or creed. If they meant no harm then neither did he.
And the mention that they will not harm him but instead they will be allies was comforting. Diot did appreciate those who were blunt and upfront, it made things a lot easier in these chaotic caves. He was rather excited for this new chapter of his life, especially one filled with curiosity and mystery. So he made sure to give thanks for all that had transpired.
"Ah, thank you! That satiates my curiosity about the term! Though I do have a few more questions now. But, those can wait when I am off duty of course. We have a lot of work ahead of us after all!"
