Chaos-Two perked up as they were addressed, their little tail fluttering gently as they smiled, though they were a bit more successful in their endeavor to.

"No problem. I'll see you later? We could talk about the garden, o-or train or something...", they offered lamely, waving as the valkhound left, off to get going on napping or eating or what have you.

They lingered for a moment before turning to Vargas and bowing their head gently, "Am I dismissed too, Master Vargas?"

They didn't just want to leave in case he wanted to talk with them more, so they waited. If granted dismissal they'd make off towards their nest, probably to nap or eat too.

Vargas stared at the pair, for a moment. Had they not understood him-? "Dismissed-? Equinox! -As I said, Chaos-Two, you are to take Equinox to see the location where you will build the gardens. And when that is done, Equinox may rest, or eat, and is then to return to me for a lesson in how to fight. You are dismissed to that," he explained, peering at them.

Unless Chaos-Two had a different definition of "dismissed" than he did; it seemed Equinox was simply... wandering away.

Chaos-Two stared at Vargas blankly for a moment, before they suddenly snapped back to themselves and inhaled.

"Right, apologies-", they said, and promptly took off after Equinox, jamming their spear into their mouth to take off on all fours after them.

They were fine. They were fine. They were fine they were completely fine...

"Wait!!", they called out around their spear, their voice growing muffled as they grew further away, though they quickly caught up.
