If Dawn hadn't made it a habit to keep glancing toward her charge in the past thirty minutes or so, she might not have noticed anything. But she had, and she did.
"Aren't you excited?" she asked Dusk, trotting after the Leviathan to keep up. "We're going to find our purpose at last!"
Then again, maybe her twin just showed emotions in different ways. She did seem a bit subdued all the time.
