The goose Nameless has recently begged of the Wishing Stone someone she might care for, nurture, and protect, as a child. This child, then, who knows itself only as Mai, will soon be found by Nameless and--perhaps--taken under her wing.
Therefore, 'Mai' needs someone to roleplay them. We ask only that the player keep the character active enough to fulfill the Wishing Stone's wish granted to Nameless, as this is a gift for Nameless herself. If you're interested, you can post below with a little information: further ideas for the character, whether you can keep it active enough to fulfill its plot, etc. If you're selected, the character will then be yours to play.
A few details: the child is just under one cycle old. They will hatch with only fuzzy memories of a dark place, of fear, and of hiding--among now-lost family--from hunters in the dark. They will remember being very young, and very confused, and afraid; they will remember being hushed, covered up, and ushered through shelters of stone and bone, urged to be still by frightened adults as strangers prowled outside the shelters. They will not remember much else; only, perhaps, that the waiting grew too long, and that--at least--they slept.
Mai will grow to be approximately four feet at the shoulder, weighing about two hundred pounds. Retractable claws hide in the front toes, and a third eye is situated atop the end of the tail. A dark, thick mane runs down the neck, back and tail. Tusks and horns provide some small defense. Mai is a Plant-element herbivore, preferring fruit, and at times also an insectivore, using a long tongue to swipe bugs from their nests. Lastly, Mai is bioluminescent, with the green-blue parts of their body glowing in times of excitement or heightened emotions of any kind. The adopter may choose the gemstone location (the stone is brown agate with red streaks).
An adopter for Mai will likely be chosen in one week's time. Remember that if the character goes inactive without being roleplayed much, we may readopt it out.
