His wish has been granted.

He hoped.

The instruction to 'Sleep' didn't really offer much explanation, but he felt the potential for something burning in his many many bones. He didn't feel TIRED- in fact, he felt excited and restless in case this DID work- in case he could somehow go on land and meet a whole new world of friends he didn't even know existed. So many people. These thoughts consumed him as he swam down to the bottom of the river bank.

The strange tingling potential in his bones grew, starting from the center of his spine. He didn't feel tired but he felt a bit odd, and it was only until the gemstone was nearly to his eye that he realized what was happ-

A small lump of Musgravite rested on the riverbed.

He woke up groggy and cramped. It took him a while to remember what had happened- his 'wish.' He didn't feel much different, to be completely honest, but he did feel something new. Dark murky stone settled on the bottom of the river, but Friend was already at the riverbank before the silt settled completely.

He took a moment to steel himself before lurching onto the river bank. He could feel preemptive panic, the inability to breath, stranded-

But he was fine.

He was stuck half-way up on the steep riverbank. He flopped wildly for a few seconds, before trying to 'swim' onto the land, which wasn't effective whatsoever. So being ON land was only half of it... he had to figure out how to MOVE on land.

So he set upon practicing- dragging himself up and down the riverbank. It was exhausting.

But the friends would be worth it, right?
