The repetition of his words please Bacchus.
He paused only briefly to think this proposal over.
”While I would not be opposed to accompanying you, I may wander from time to time. After all, if I can find samples of plants throughout the cave that may appeal to various gembounds for a variety of reasons, it would be beneficial.”
”Having an existing supply of such plants and knowledge of where each is naturally found can only expedite matters for us, I believe,” He further explained.
”Wherever we gather, I would like to be able to grow these plants from the samples I obtain. I would create a garden that contains whatever one might need and desire,” Bacchus practically purred the last few words.
@Archimedes
Bacchus was paused at this suggestion, and he considered the matter at hand.
"While I would prefer to keep my garden close by, I do see your point as well."
He further considered this.
"At the very least, we could keep any herbs with healing properties in a garden near where we settle, if not the rest? Those may be sought after as much as plants with other properties, and we could use those ourselves if need be."
"Multiple gardens, while an option, are less than optimal. Each garden will need tending at points, after all, as well as protection from potential thieves that would take from us," He pointed out.
"If the gardens are not located where we are, they will need a guardian of some sort."
His purple gaze settled on the snake that the rode had taken for a steed, thoughtful, as an idea came to him.
"...It would be convenient if we could tame a lesser that may guard it," Bacchus stated.
"But, I do not know how one would go about doing such. It seems a strenuous task, and it will take plenty of effort simply to gather and tend to our plant supply."
As for the rest...
"I am unfamiliar with either of those caves," Bacchus admitted, somewhat grudgingly. His gaze becomes somewhat distant, and his tail lashes in agitation.
"I fell into hibernation rather young, and I had not explored much of the caves. ...So, I suppose I must ask for further direction to where we shall meet up."
It feels shameful to admit, and a strange thing to feel shame about at that, considering Bacchus's everything.
@Archimedes
The leopard listened intently to the words, noting them down to remember.
At the last few sentences, however, he paid particular attention to Archimedes's tone.
"Oh?" He playfully intoned, enjoying the other's good natured amusement.
"If you state such, it must be truly worth visiting. I will be certain to do such." Bacchus rumbled a purr-adjacent noise.
His spotted tail flicked absentmindedly.
"Hmm... But for now, we shall part. I look forward to when we meet again."
And truthfully, he did. Archimedes was fascinating, and his ideas even more so. This was going to be a rather interesting endeavor, indeed.
