Species: Kooru x Dragon x Red Deer
Appearance: (Written by Shadowlugia711) This gembound derives most of its appearance from its stonegiver, a Kooru, except for its size. It stands 10 feet at the shoulders, and is 15 feet long from snout to tail tip. It has six legs, the front two pairs ending in claws and the back two in hooves. A frill of webbing connects them. Its head has four eyes, that are a pale ghostly white and glow in the dark. Antlers sprout from the top of its head, a dark grey.

It is mostly covered in dark blue shaggy fur, with a glowing white patterning of eratic stripes, almost looking like coursing lightning in a snapshot. Its tail is two thirds its length, and ends in three grasping "fingers". These feelers are slightly sticky.

Its stone, a hunk of iron pyrite, sits on the back of its head, where it meets the neck. It is primarily herbivorous, but it wouldn't turn down an oppurtunistic snack on something more fleshy.

Appearance: Two Choices, will be chosen between by adopter
Choice A = A darkly colored draconic being made of grays with a slight blue hue. It has fur along its head, neck and tail, but tattered fins along its back. There are glowing patches on the tail fur, reminiscent of the Lanternfish its stone came from. In addition to spots on the tail, in lieu of a lure, it has two glowing eyes. It possesses both functional gills and flight capable if slightly tattered-looking wings. On its head are two dark antlers. The mouth is uncanny, being similar to a Lanternfish. Its frame is narrow and slick, like Cadenza, but it is not quite an elegant creature. Rather, it is an entirely eerie sight.

Choice B = A pale being made up of white scales with pale blue highlights. It has a similar lean draconic frame to Cadenza. It has purple eyes much like a lanternfish, though it only has the two of those eyes. The wings it possesses are flight capable wings, and it also has gills. Its tail ends in a point. Along its back are tattered fins. Light is emitted from the many spots dotted on its wings. On its head are pale antlers. It is a rather elegant looking creature, over all.

Appearance: A large and bulky draconic figure when grown. At full size, he will be around Dread's length and height, as opposed to Cadenza's slightly smaller size. He has the coloration of a lanternfish along with the teeth, six purple eyes, and gills. He also has the tail of a lanternfish, however, and though he has large wings, his heavier frame combined with a non-aerodynamic tail has resulted in a lack of flight capability. Instead, however, he excels at swimming. He has glow spots along pale antlers, his wingtips, and his tail. His gills are visible on his neck. One of his many purple eyes is instead a purple amethyst.

Some notes:
-Please try to only apply if you are willing to actively commit to playing this character.
-Cadenza is going to be involved in the raising of the children as much as they can, since they very much want to be a parent. Undoubtedly, the some of the other members of their family from both Dread and Pride’s sides will probably be at least somewhat involved in the childhood of these children, especially since Cadenza has no actual experience raising children.
In short: Be prepared for family times, basically.

Gaheris inherits the more introverted aspects of Cadenza's personality. She tolerates crowds, though she doesn't speak much. She has a very strong sense of personal space, and will make sure to let you know if you're encroaching on her's. (Gembounds she favours may be exempt from this rule.) She speaks little, but is firm when she does - she intends to be heard.

Unfortunately, he inherits Cadenza's hoarding tendencies too, albeit in a slightly different form. No, He does not desire material wealth; He desires power. The ability for time and space to bend to his very will, to know and understand all the things that others may be too afraid of to approach.

She keeps many at arms length, save for a precious few. Those who know her truly will understand her as an awkward, affectionate creature, one who rolls around and gnaws and makes a general fool of herself in front of those she has let in. Behind the quiet, intimidating mask is a complete and utter dork. This is her darkest secret.

Idea:

Firstly, name - I like Kaapo, open to suggestions or changing it >,>

Next, appearance changes -

Kaapo will be thin, and pretty slender just as Cadenza is. Very wiry, almost slippery. He's very fish-based, and I incorporated that into his design a lot. Primarily, though, he's reptilian and the shape of his body is that of a dragon. Unlike Cadenza, he has four long legs each with three tensile 'fingers' (claws) with a long dew claw. He'd get not only his quadruped stature from his deer grandpa, but also the large horns atop his head and somewhat sloped face.

Some fish aspects-

- the gills, with pink frills poking out (you'll see a lot of pink accents)
- a crocodile like, thick tail that'll be good for swimmin'
- webbed toes, webbed mouth
- lots! of fins. along his back, under his chin, down 1/4 of his tail and under his chest.
- i've also considered removing the claws on his wings to make them more dynamic and better for water.

As for his coloring, I like the original idea. Shimmery white scales, as they get closer to his underbelly and the inners of his legs, they fizzle out to reveal tough, pale bluish purple skin. I wanted him to not be completely covered in 'dragon' scales to again add to that squishy fish idea. As for his antlers, they'll be an even paler blue than his stomach.

Markings: I want him to have lots of swirls, freckles and symbols on him. He won't be born with them! I plan to use dyes later in life to get those markings. His main body will have plates of ever so slightly tougher skin- not tough enough to really change anything- that are bioluminescent in dark spaces. They usually sit on the fronts of his legs, spotted on his sides and the back of his neck, next to his fins. They also line his tail! Next, his wings will be heavily marked. The freckles will coat most of the skin, accompanied by large swirls. Said swirls and freckles aren't the same tough material, and the swirls are not bio. Rather they are a slightly darker shade of the blue that his inner wings are, and will be dyed on.

Generally, most of his markings are either a pale pink like his gills and the webs between his toes, or a slightly darker blue. Depending on what playing around w the color palette results in, the fins on his back (and chin/stomach/tail) could also be pink! I am leaning towards that. Side note, the pink is very pale and almost a salmonish color- not too overbearing unless glowing.

Gem: Kaapo's gem will most likely be on his nose, or perhaps in his forehead! Likely somewhere on the face to match the pinkiness.

Personality: Finally, Kaapo's personality. I really want him to be goofy, clumsy, and maybe a little dumb- at least in the beginning. I'd like to imagine him as pretty playful, keeping the sweetness of Cadenza but adding his own kookiness. He'd genuinely like helping people, and be fiercely protective of loved ones. I'd also like to give him a few quirks.

His voice would be raspy, medium in pitch and a bit upbeat.

Big laugher, very easily amused and entertained. He loves to keep people around long-term, and is often very hurt when they seem to show any disinterest (in any capacity) towards him and his company. He'd be slightly socially insecure, worried about his impressions upon others. While yes, playful, he's very much a people pleaser and wants to be liked and wanted.

He's also extremely superstitious- almost uncomfortably so. He'll go to ridiculous lengths to perform odd rituals that he credits towards some unknown deity. He won't really consider himself religious at all, in fact quite the opposite, but to most people he'd seem like a highly devout nut.

I'd hope for Kaapo to have some big character development in terms of his views on other creatures! For example, maybe a big betrayal or something that makes him do a 180 and turn all suspicious and closed off. As far as the beginning of his life would be concerned, he'd be very trusting and it'd be interesting to see that be taken advantage of. He's also, like I said, social so being alone would be really difficult for him! And modified he'll somehow get the dye eventually lols

I am honored to have received these applications for the Pink Diamond child of Cadenza. It was a difficult choice, but ultimately, I have decided upon the adopter after thorough consideration.
