It was, in essence, a large, fat, fluffy gryphon with a bobtail: with thick fur and soft feathers ranging from near-white through cream to tan. A gentle, birdlike face, bird forelimbs and wings at its back gave way to a lynx hind end, though the entire body was upsized and heavily-built. It looked very cuddly."

Appearance: A half-aquatic, finned version of Shango in Orion's Scale coloring. Scale-feathers, Thorny Devil spines; functional wings, fins and gills allow it to be an ATH: All-Terrain Hybrid. It will be somewhere in the middle of its many various ancestors' sizes, likely weighing three or so hundred pounds. Art is not yet final but likely to be very similar to this:

OKAY FOLKS. The Orion's Scale child is up for adoption. If you want to adopt it I BEG YOU to have a parent/child relationship with Shango, since all his kids vanish, rip. Priority will go to those who don't already have a Shango kid!

You can redesign it however you like. W/e name, gender, personality, total design. Just be aware if you'd like to redesign it, it'll need to be GM tagged for new approval (I can do that!). Post here, I'll get to it in a week or two!

Gender: Genderless (He/Him)

Personality/Ideas: Unlike Shango, Regulus is naturally fearful. This hybrid is easily spooked, to the point where calling him skittish would be an understatement. Even though he's definitely a decent sized predator when fully grown, everything seems to scare him.

And yet, for all that he is scared, he is curious as well. What this curiosity will turn into exactly depends on the influences in his life.

He could easily turn out to be a kind healer with good bedside manner, since he understands the fear that others can feel. But, he would need to work past some instinctual fears in order to even do such.

Regulus is clingy with those few he trusts, the first of those always being his parent Shango, hiding behind trusted beings at the first sign of anything slightly frightening. He could easily develop separation anxiety.

Personality:

I'm thinking something that of a fierce protector of family and friends. Due to being able to traverse all terrain, they're gonna be quite the curious guy and want to go everywhere they can to see every cave they can. Not be afraid of anything - speaking their mind, doing quests if there is any - will probably end up pretty independent. But also want to stick close to family if they can. The all-rounder sort. Will probably use spell borrows instead of prok magic, to follow in Shango's use of electricity (and perhaps throw some water in as well). May invest in tactics as well to have backup just in case of magic failures

Plotting Ideas?

Nothing too specific, probs gonna want to make friends of all kinds since they can really get around. Will look up to Shango for a lot of their teaching / behaviors / magic stuff as time goes on.
