Sakhira had stuck around Polaris for a while longer since finding Shango to revive the austinite. There really was no reason to travel further to Monoceros when her goal had already been accomplished. Though she supposed that it would be a good idea to pay a visit to the windy cave sometime, perhaps when she gained the ability to fly. Either way, she had decided to stay in Polaris. This cave had the benefit of a magical charge in the air, more than could be felt in the other caves. Not to mention, there was a rather prolific amount of gemstones scattered around this area. And since it was also flat, the gems were easier to collect too compared to say, Monoceros, with its tiered ledges and valleys.

She was looking for some gems, not the alive kind this time. Sakhira was looking to experiment with her magic, and what better way to do that then to practice on some stones? Sure, this could be done with some regular rocks or pebbles, but that would be boring. Sparkly gems were the way to do it. Fun and also interesting! Unfortunately she seemed to be unable to find any. The sphynx ruffled her half grown feathers in frustration. But it's alright, she could keep searching.

@Wilder

Usually Wilder's trips through Polaris were met with unease - she avoided her old cave and the Spire as much as she could, or she was there to investigate something that had gone awry or strange. But this time she walked casually, almost excitedly, towards her destination. Although she was halted in her path by the sight of another Gembound.

Immediately, defensive responses kicked in. A flick of magic to ensure that this was a relatively safe gembound assured her that it was not a creature of Chaos or Order (thank the stars for that). But that didn't mean they couldn't be carrying the fungus or they could be aggressive or they could be a spy or just not infected with those two sides or otherwise dangerous or out to get her or

Wilder. the soft nudging of Vaati took her out of the spiral of panic and she snapped back to reality. Right. She had no reason to fear everyone.

She watched Sakhira for a moment, realizing that she was focused on the ground, moving rocks and pebbles around. Huh. Now she was too curious to just ignore her and keep walking.

Ears turning back a little, out of a faint bit of anxiety approaching a stranger, she stepped forward slowly, approaching from the front so she wouldn't be surprised.

"Excuse me," she called out, trying not to sound too apprehensive. "Are you looking for something?"
