A white dog walked along Leo's beach. Though its fur was scruffy and its movements slightly jerky, it seemed otherwise healthy. At the very least, it was certainly very... well fed. And its fur rippled with every movement, as if the muscles underneath were working very hard indeed.

flesh is pain flesh is corruption remove the flesh remove flesh remove flesh remove the flesh

So much life in Leo. So much flesh. Fish swimming in the Bay. Birds crying in the trees. It was not strong enough needed more magic couldn't purge all of this flesh but it could make a start. A hoarse whine escaped its jaws as it reached the water and little waves lapped at its paws. Magic! Stronger magic would help it but it would use what it had.

Its jaws opened and it exhaled. Flesh removing corruption purging pain cleansing bacteria to spread through the bay and destroy the flesh and pain more more more why wasn't it working it needed to be stronger get more magic how could this remove enough flesh NO IT WASN'T STRONG ENOUGH IT HAD FAILED NOT AGAIN but still it had to try. Again. Again.

Will you stay with me?

@Siren
Siren was swimming along the beach, not particularly looking for anything exciting. Maybe to scare some coming to peer into the waters, if they got close enough. Thankfully, Siren has not lost any movement from the endeavors before. It also completely recovered from it's exhaustion too. Good stuff. Everything has been back to normal, and Siren is no longer afraid to enter its home with Mother.

Today, though, it decided exploring the caves was in order.

Siren is not able to see like others, despite that, only the top of its head poking out of the surface, it can still. Quiet clicking sounds emanate from the Drone, allowing its sensitive echolocation to alert it to the presence of someone wandering around. Generally canine in shape, Siren thinks this one is not a threat.

However, perhaps it is best to wait, see if the seemingly ill dog notices it.

@Parthenium
Again the stiff jaws cracked open, again the white dog exhaled, blowing bubbles into the water. Its adamantine will could not be swayed by one failure. That was not how it had lasted for five thousand years.

Though the breath was once again bare of magic, the dog paused before doing it again. Its head lifted jerkily, and its fur rippled as if it was shifting with agitation. In reality, it was the rat thralls creeping underneath (never alone never alone) who shifted. It—they had heard something. Clicking, the slightest of splashes as if something was swimming. Someone?

”Don’t—“ Parthenium’s sweet alto voice had become hoarse, adding a note of desperation and pleading to the words they had repeated to themselves for an eternity. ”Don’t—leave me—alone—don’t leave me…” It took several jerky steps into the water, then hesitated as if unsure where to go. ”Don’t leave me alone… the pain—is eternal! please don’t leave me alone—“ The voice lifted into a whine, a pleading cry.

Surely someone would come for it. Find it. Heed its cry.
