It'd taken him a day or two longer than he'd expected to refurbish the weapon he'd promised Yellow. The whole "explode in your hands" thing was just so much more likely when the darned thing was clogged with dust and black powder, after all.

As it stood, the Collector carried the old pistol idly in one hand, looking for all the world like an extraordinarily devilish gunslinger. It was, however, a small pistol. Even by human standards, it had been small; for a creature the size of the Collector, why, his hand simply dwarfed it. So-... a very strange gunslinger, indeed.

"Ahhh, there you are. Perfect timing; I have been checking back to see if you might have returned," he crooned. He swept forward, dropping into a graceful kneel, offering out the pistol in one hand--and the small pouch of exactly twelve bullets in the other. "I believe that this belongs to you... Now, would you like to see how it works?"

Yellow is being offered an already-paid-for item: a small old pistol and twelve matched .32 caliber bullets. The kickback from firing this gun will throw the sifaka quite far backward, but the damage it can do to medium- and small-sized creatures is deadly. However, each use must be rolled for with an Other roll. A failure will simply miss, but upon a critical failure, the old gun will explode, causing extreme damage to Yellow's arms and hands (likely returning her to her chrysalis) and destroying itself.
