Feeling content, the foreigner of the land climbed out and shook himself as dry as he could. It was just then that his head snapped around to the sound of a small squeak - a mouse. Right there! In front of him! No good opportunity should be wasted, and immediately he drew forward towards the mouse at the fastest speed his little legs could carry him. But the rodent was much quicker and dashed towards a hole that even his lithe body couldn't penetrate. With as much enthusiasm as he could muster, the boy slid to a stop and immediately wavered his tail, attempting to draw power from his body. He remembered learning it just a little bit with the large snake-like creature about a week ago. Would it work? Feeling the surge rush through his body, he whipped around to see if he could whip up enough energy to place a charge upon a piece of small brush that was covering half the hole the mouse was aiming for, hoping it'd bounce back and shock the critter to at least paralyze it.
----
The charge of electricity managed to be infused with the small brush, and as the mouse attempted to dash by, it sent out a shock towards it, stunning the poor beast for a moment. "Oh... I... I DID IT! AHAHA, TAKE THAT YOU LITTLE RODENT" So happy as can be for his fist alone successful magic trick, the boy spun around in a circle and danced about at his achievement to not realize that a small little stun wouldn't stop the mouse forever. It was then that the mouse had recovered and dove in, leaving German wide mouthed and shocked (pun intended) at his stupidity. "WHAT!?! NOOOOOOOOOOO!" He cried out in a bit of misery and anger, dashing towards the hole and sticking his nose right into it before he felt a surge of shock on his left side. "OUCH!!" He pulled back quickly and curled into a small ball. The little plant was still a little on "Fire" with it's electricity, but soon died down.
