Luring prey sounded like a good way to use his stealth, Alek decided.

And once again, he found success. His light would serve as the main lure, this time, no light scent of blood upon the waters to further catch the prey that thought themselves predators.

Yes, now he would wait.
Alek would wait, now, to see if any fish took the bait. And sure enough, one day.

Fish were fools, but so were gembounds, at times. Though the true fool was the one who assumed they knew everything, Alek supposed.

The aquatic dragon, stealthy hidden, prepared to lunge.
And so the aquatic dragon lunged. He felt the success, as he swiftly incapacitated and then consumed the unconscious fish.

It felt like a breakthrough. Perhaps it was.

He swam back up to the surface, content with his progress over the long while he had spent, intently hunting for himself.

He was stuffed now, that was for certain. Just a little over pleasantly full to unpleasantly full, an unusual feeling for such a large being.

One last nap wouldn't hurt, he decided. And so, he napped on the beach.

[Exit Alek]
