Yanyue was going to visit the portal in Gemini, as they were attempting to make a routine of doing so. Diem had said that more tries meant more cool things, and though Yanyue did not want to bother the portal, it had indeed given a very cool gift of a bag and sword shards that the Blacksmith adored. They still had the drawstring bag with them, they carried it everywhere.

Excitement always made them want to fly, and so they tried. Success felt like the freedom that their magical gift from the Blacksmith granted them. They flew around with delight until the spell wore off, and then they landed with practiced ease.

They stood a bit back from the portal, not wanting to be hit like the first time. "Magical portal, may I have a gift, please?"
From the rift tumbles out a small wooden figure, about four inches in length: shaped almost just like Yanyue, it is the crude model of some kind of arched serpent with four legs. Its edges are worn and battered and much of the body has been rubbed smooth, although some notches and etching suggest it once had details like scales and facial features. The top portion of the figure is jagged to form a mane, but its "points" are rounded and smooth; its tail curls along its back. It is very lightweight.
Yanyue gave a delighted gasp as they realized not only had the portal given them a gift, but they had received a gift that resembled them. In their eyes, this meant that the portal clearly liked them, they decided. What else could it mean, really?

They drew up on their drawstring bag, then ever so carefully picked up the wooden dragon and placed it within the bag gently. After that, Yanyue drew the bag closed again.

Following putting the item away, Yanyue made sure to bow to the portal in appreciation of the gift. It was important to show thanks, especially for such a thoughtful gift. "Thank you, magic portal!" they beamed at the portal. "I love it!"

Then, carefully holding the bag with its newest occupant of a carved dragon, Yanyue trotted off away from the portal.
