The great monstrosity that was the Overseer Tectus clambered her way up one of the cliffs, on an overhang not far from one of the buildings. Low enough to easily get off of, high enough that she could see much of what had once been a bustling city. The memory was hazy, like it was a dream and not something that had once been, but so was everything. She remembered her name, details, here and there, but so much had been lost.
Ruins. Rubble. Nothing but broken, dusty buildings, abandoned and left to rot. What cataclysm had laid ruin and waste to Orion while she slept? Where was Astraea and the other Masters? Were the other caves in a similar shape?
She could see the Throne from here, but it rose up far in the distance. She needed more answer - if there were any valkhounds or workers or even rebels (ugh) left roaming these halls, she would find them.
Her magic flared, strong as ever, and she immediately felt multiple presences, but far less then she would have expected from Orion in its prime. Most were far in the distance, closer to the throne, but there were some close by. Some felt smaller, lesser gembound perhaps. The greater magic she focused on and honed in towards. She narrowed her eyes and walked off the edge of the cliff. Her massive body fell a few feet before slamming into the roof of one of the old buildings, immediately collapsing the stone beneath her. She gripped it hard with her claws and rode it down, landing heavily in a new pile of rubble - a very loud, crashing event that would definitely have alerted someone nearby.
A purposeful thing. A rebel would probably run and hide. Someone worth talking to would probably investigate. Either way, she would be ready for them.
But the sound of the collapse is worth investigating - did someone get caught up in it? Or even far more mundane, did it reveal any neat trinkets of lives long past? The answer, was in a way, both.
Four pale white eyes peek around the corner, and he finds the massive Valkhound, glaring back with purposeful determination. It's mind wanders back to one of the two who oversaw the Trial in Hydra, the same hulking form and glowing eyes - but still very different.
She is obviously unhurt, likely having brought the building down herself, but Kaizer still raises his voice, "Are you alright? Something wrong?"

Ah good, as soon as the building came down, she felt the presence move closer to her before the spell ended and the awareness slipped away. She waited, patiently, flicking dust and rock off of her hide before the creature rounded the corner. It looked far more normal than that humanoid thing had been, much more like creatures she was used to - size, shape, eyes - but her gaze flickered to the pyrite upon the back of its head and the potential for a better move was quickly soured.
She moved in closer, absolutely invading their personal space for a moment, sniffing long and deep as she inspected their pelt, their colors, their shape. Odd, vaguely familiar but not familiar enough.
"Oh-I-Uh. I can try to answer-" it stumbles over its words, already cut off again. The Valkhound is already upon him, and fearing an attack, he pushes his magic into his fur. Not that it does anything, but she doesn't sink her jaws into him either, so it's hopefully not a loss?
Still, it lowers his head, trying to use his antlers to space her out a little. When it looks back up, it stares. "Whi made me? Well... uh... there's the one who gave life to my stone, Cadenza... I think my stone was just a lost onr though. Nothing special- I think."
