What an eventful day! Sair and their new companion had shuffled from one event to the other, and finally, Trill had begun to look excited for one of them. It seemed the word 'fight' translated to 'food' in Trill's mind, and it leaped onto the stage without much prompting. Thankfully, it had waited until their turn, although not without complaint. It really was a good thing that they were linked with the beast. If not for even the temporary bond it was, the Firetongue would have hypnotized and lured them without much trouble given the amount of competitors it had tried to 'befriend'. Quite the hoof-ful, it was! Talonful? It was still strange, having a mismatched set of limbs. They had proven useful, though, given the amount of times Sair had needed to grab the thing to keep it from gobbling another lesser up.
"Yes, Trill, it's our turn now. I have full faith in you!" They called from their spot beside the stage, encouraging Trill to get riled up. If they had learned anything about the Frietongue, if not all Firetongues, it was that they were nothing if not eager to 'make friends'.
"Scion, are you here?" Sair turned to face the crowd, calling out for their competition to join them. Trill was impatient, frills up and at the ready, all six eyes trained on the other end of the stage.
"Speaking." Thinking. Doing.
