It seemed that it didn't matter where Anala went, the foul stuff was everywhere. Eridanus, Gemini, here! To each their own and whatnot, she would not judge an infected gembound, but she sure as hell wasn't going to let them take over the caves! It was bad enough that things decayed into oil that could also make gembound act strange! But to let another force worm its way into every crevice? No thank you! Let gembound be gembound! Things were chaos enough as is, and she had an event to run! Was Orion still clean? It had better be, this whole magic thing took a lot of work, and it hurt!
A failed attempt at casting her spell resulted in an even most disgruntled wolf who spit regular spit at mould-covered bones before huffing about. "Even the caves are against me now! Do you see what you've done?!"
Another cast, this time successful, allowed her to spit a coagulated fire-starter onto the white mass. She spread it as best she could, which was hard given that she was spitting it rather than smearing it so that she did not ingest anything, before she backed away to smile at her work. "That's more like it!" She mentally high-fived herself as she tried to clear the rest of the yucky magic saliva from her mouth. It wasn't a pleasant sensation.
But how could she light it? Her other spell would only cause he to burn herself bad, but maybe there were some dead twigs or... something? She happened upon Canis while looking for gembound to invite to her sparring ring, so it wasn't like she came prepared with kindling. Maybe she would spread more gel, so it was worth the burns? But then how would she gather what she needed for the ring? "Curse you, foul fungus!"
