The hydra was silent for a moment, all four heads considering. Well, Furud was probably simply considering "friends" happily, and indeed some of his neck-fur had ruffled up. But Sirius was inspecting Rajani more closely.
"You've picked up language very fast," he noted, suddenly. His gaze was intent. The cub had been speaking simply, but in a matter of minutes had added complex words to a simple sentence structure, and he was now speaking with a fluency that Sirius found to be a match even to his own rather floral speech. "If you learn other things as quickly, you will find few things to bar your progress, I think."
Mirzim glanced at him and nodded, then looked thoughtfully at Rajani. "Tell me, cub: have you been to Polaris? The cave with the Spire within. It is a room of crystals. The Spire is a great, glowing one. That cave holds a great deal of power. I don't know if you can claim any for yourself, but you may find it... interesting." She didn't know its secrets. None of Wolfhound's heads did, but they'd felt the power there. And to them... Rajani fit that, somehow. Maybe he could find something they had not.
It was Adhara to offer a more personal farewell. "If you have need of us, of course, come and find us. For training or simply companionship. These caves are shockingly empty. It's nice to have a little company," she assured, smiling kindly at him. "In the meantime, we wish you the best of luck."
Furud bristled proudly. "WE'LL SEE YOU AGAIN, MAYBE? FRIEND?" he asked.
"Sirius" "Adhara" "Mirzim" "Furud"
