Zephiran leaned forward, lifting his paw, trying to summon what he did in an accident earlier in the tunnel. Bright blue eyes trying to focus. And it had worked! The blue light transfered over to the gemstone of the others ring. Making it glow his color! A pitiful but happy wag of his tail as his eyes gazed up to Esther.
Then the other had offered to show their power! Well of course he wanted to see it. Zephiran nodded, flickering his ears. The pup tried to be calm, collected. However his tail gave away the obvious excitement he had to see the new things.
Esther looks down and waits for the magic to work, it takes some time, but their ring begins to glow. It's a nice blue color, reminding them of water magic. Though that spell is not of the sea, but of the light. A nice touch regardless, especially since the ring allows them to breathe underwater.
They smile when the pup is clearly excited about seeing Esther's magic. It's nice of the little thing, he clearly doesn't know the dangers of Corruption, or how it can completely take over one's mind and body alike. Still, Esther is proud of their power regardless of the source.
Aiming for a nearby pillar of rock, Esther pulls one of their spells forward and watches as it creaks under the pressure. Eventually the stone crumbles and falls to the ground below. They grin, glad the spell worked this time. Chaos is very unpredictable, and more often than not Esther is wishing their spells had worked when they don't.
@Zephiran

It made Zephiran jump backwards a bit, but was easily blown away by the shocking strength of such power. Not something he wanted to mess with if it was so dangerous. That would be too scary. Intriguing.
His tail happily wagged side to side.
Oh to be able to show that off, to break things with ease. He'd have so much fun doing more. But there was a world to explore. And he wanted to see so much of it. And maybe find a spot where to put all these things he found.
They smile at the pup when he says he wants to learn, he will with time. It took Esther a long time to properly learn magic and even now they are still learning.
Esther started with fire, but now they can do a lot of different things.... Just not all. They don't think they want to know everything anyway. It will just bring more trouble.

Zephiran spoke with a huff, a flicker of his tail. While Zephiran doesn't understand what could truly happen, he's in awe over the strength in something that looked so easy to do. (It wasn't easy, but don't tell him that.)
A cock of his head as the voice questioned his power. It seemed all he could do was light things. Could he eventually do more? Something unique? Place his paw somewhere unique to light the way? Or was he stuck glowing rocks forever? Regardless, he wanted to learn.
But even he had doubts. One he wanted to assure wouldn't be forever. He didn't understand, maybe he never would. The power he was gifted with.. it seemed a lot didn't have it. None he saw with it anyways. It made him question a bunch.
Should he have gotten a different power? Is this the right choice?
Yet he tried to see the positive for it. He could see things, something different than others might not be able to.
There was a bright smile on the pup’s face. Despite the heavy doubts they questioned. One day they'd understand. But it wouldn't be any time soon. Far too soon for him to understand how the powers worked. Why he was gifted to do what he did.
Esther still isn't quite sure how they learned the different spells that they've learned, even. One day they just appeared in their mind and Esther was able to begin using them.
Esther can't think of anything else to say. They've explained pretty much everything they know - and nothing about corruption but that's a different topic - so it's time to go. They're worried for the little thing, but many gembound have grown up on their own, Esther did too.
