Curiosity was something that most of Bevy's headmates had, but you see, only one of them so far dared to search everywhere high and low for the most curious of things, and that was what had brought young Calypso here.
Her small, frail form fluttered through the well worn path, the string of lights guiding her. It didn't take long before she ended up in front of the intricate carvings, her eyes caught by the interesting sight. Just what was this? Her eyes went wide as she hovered in front of the interesting, lichen grown over pockets.
After a moment, she landed and considered the carvings. There had to be something she could do to make the markings more clear... It looked like a storm or a battle to her, but ti was impossible to tell just what it was. She could definitely see shapes, like beasts, gathered all around.
"Well well, what secrets are this, anyway?" Calypso chirped, her voice sharp and loud against the empty tunnel walls. Perhaps she could do something... Maybe introduce a new form of bacteria to eat at the lichen and reveal something, but it was hard to say. She hadn't been around for the first part of the quest, and so she didn't have any clue that the others had made the lichen grow to get a better guess of the carvings.
Part of her just wanted to wipe the mess away with a wing, but she thought better of it and tried to summon a great cloud of bacteria at the wall.

And so the bacteria came, en masse, at the wall, colliding with the existing bacteria. Her feathers puffed up with satisfaction as she watched her work begin. Maybe it would impede progress, or perhaps, it would be just what the situation needed.

Life is precious.
She'd heard whispers about something on the walls of one of the tunnels. She herself had never tried to find them... until now. Resting at Pisces was rather boring and with Bevy's help her chest was feeling very good. Good enough for her travel on and good enough for her to go find these carvings that she'd heard about. So, with tail and head high she wandered down the different corridors until she found the one she was looking for. From the descriptions she was easily able to find the carvings... but she didn't understand them. Why were there marks on the wall? Marks that she didn't understand.
She wondered if other gembounds had done these marks or if they were left by other things. What other things she didn't know. Perhaps the gembounds weren't the first in the cave, what if there were other things. Other things like the shadows she had seen from the rock in the other tunnel.
Hmm...
All of these brought multitudes of problems with them. Problems that she didn't understand.
What did she usually do when there was a problem that she didn't understand? Why, put a paw on it and hope for the best! So, after squinting at the strange marks on the wall which were partly covered in lichen she reached out and touched it very gently with a paw. What secrets would be revealed?

Calypso's eyes went wide as the lichen spread, covering more of the nicks in the wall, creating a wider picture. Her tiny beak pointed upward, she peered at the carvings with thought, trying to understand. What did it mean? Could she keep pouring her magic at it and the answer would come? Unfortunately for the young bird, she didn't have time to think about it.
The red and black pitohui heard someone coming. Always diligent, Calypso had been expecting this. Something this interesting would always draw attention. With a few quick flaps, she rose up to the lights that lit the ceiling and hid on top of one, peering down at the lioness who came through.
Ah, Makyna. It probably wouldn't do Bevy any good to get caught so far from home, so the little bird nestled down and watched her sort-of friend do her thing. Calypso didn't know anyone, really, since she didn't front very often. She knew that the others liked Ky well enough, but it wasn't enough to convince her to come out of hiding.
Just what was Ky doing though?
