V-Onyx-Three does not quite know what expression Tourmaline's face bore at the moment, but he could certainly tell from her words that some things were not quite right. Yes? No? Was she really alright? He reaches out with his magic-- it had, after all, not yet failed him thus far. Relief but also... something else? His ears flatten, concern spreading over his own features. But before he can remark on what may have been the actual truth hidden in her words, she had already moved on. V-Onyx-Three did not probe into it. It was painful to know that maybe he had gone a bit too far (that was the thing about magic, wasn't it? Even when it succeeds, one can not control the potency... it can be too much.)

He dipped his head at the compliment, but he wasn't sure if 'strong' was what he needed at the moment. "Your magic is controlled. Steady. Like earth." His magic on the other hand was chaos. He knew it was a good thing. Chaos. But chaos too should be able to be controlled. Shouldn't it? V-Onyx-Three made a mental note to test that out in a later training session with himself. That way should something go wrong, no one would be harmed. "I will learn from you Tourmaline. At rematch. Thank you for the spar."

With that, he would leave her be. There was much to ponder from this spar which was always a good thing.

"Exit Onyx-Three unless stopped"

@Tourmaline
She'd give a pained smile as her returned the compliment. "Yes, that is my domain," she'd wheeze in agreement. And she definitely feels proud of herself that Onyx feels she's a worthy mentor. I did a good job, then.

He's quick to head off, and Tourmaline supposes that makes sense. He likely had other business, or some den to calm down it, or something. She'll have to regain her breath first, but heading home is something she'll probably do too.

"Take care, Onyx," she'd call after him as a goodbye, but she's content to end it there. The rest of today, she's taking it easy.

Exit Tourmaline
