All Belvadair could think of is how.. weird and strange that hybrid was. But he didn't necessarily stop either. The masked pup went forward, pawing his way towards the exit of the tunnel. Claws briefly click against the stones under his paws. A swift slash of his tail. Yet he heard him. To ask him if he needed anything.

Perhaps he'd.. look to cash that in at a different time. To ask him about this tunnel.

As the hatchling moved past, Khemi made to scramble out of his way, turning to watch as he disappeared down the tunnel, still feeling the slightest tremble in his shoulders. That had been...not a great interaction, but to be fair, he hadn't really been expecting any interactions at all.

As soon as he was gone, the hybrid finally relaxed, collapsing boneless to the ground, feeling the after-effects of the stress of holding a conversation like a physical weight. A shaky breath left his chest as he curled in on himself. He needed to rest for a bit before moving on - and move on was what he had to do. He needed to find his way home.
