ORIGIN

Cardan felt like returning backwards. It was a step behind, but he was curious to see if the chrysalis he hatched in was gone now. And what was around him. Little by little he was slowly gaining his confidence to explore.

This time he tried to call for his power, squinting towards the cavern tunnel. Yet nothing. A baffled sigh and he swiftly moved forward in the dim lights. Claws clicked against the stones as he walked with a limp. Moving to plant and land himself right next to a grove of bamboo.

And well..

He began to chew on the sprout.

He bounded through the land, using the winds to pick up speed and make his running even faster. He was like a bullet, sprinting down the tunnels and around the corners with little regard for his or anyone else's safety. It wasn't like he was being reckless on purpose, he just didn't stop to think about it. In reality, he rarely stopped at all.

As he turned the corner, he came to a screeching halt when he saw another, suddenly going head over heels in his attempt to stop himself. He rolled a few times before landing on his back, looking up at the creature that was sitting there in front of him.

A smile crossed his lips as he giggled softly. Hiya!
