Pyrosera had just killed one of the rainbow birds flying about. The white pup took the time to get out of the one den she was resting in. Her claws shredded the colorful feathers off of it while she chewed on the little meat the bird corpse offered. The feathers curled before hitting the ground. A weird sight to see.

After she was done, she went to take the feathers with her. A good jawful, and some stuck between her toes. Pulling herself up to head into the forest.

When she flopped herself down near one of the trees, setting the feathers down near her, she went to groom the feathers out of her paws. Plucking them out one by one. But she had noticed a small detail.

Her toes had a discoloration to them. A very small tint of red. Stuck to her paw pad and claws. Like the feathers pushed the color of them onto her.

A confused look crossed her face midway through the groom. It was odd. How had she not noticed this before?

Exploration was fun, enjoyable for Moonsetter, so he did it often. If you enjoyed something, why not do it all the time? It was pretty often that he found something new or interesting, that's what happened when you hibernated most of your life, but this time, he found something he had never seen before, and something colorful. His two favorite things!

He noticed a creature sitting down, coat white a snow and while that didn't catch his attention, the colors on their toes did. Colorful, bright and attention grabbing. He let out a soft coo of curiosity and walked over, having little care for personal space as he aimed to walk directly up behind them, head dipping down over their shoulder as he sniffed at the colorful toes, curious and attentive.

What a creep.

Mid groom she was, before some large creature came over towards her. Long slender body, darker in color. They were nearly her shoulder before she could register what it was. Something she'd never seen before. Her ears pinned behind her..

"Well excuse you. I mind you being here." Tail slashed behind her, a gentle rumble to her throat. A threat. Even though she wouldn't really win, she wasn't going to give up easily.

"What do you want?" Words and tone was harsh, like a blade.

Cocking his head to the side in confusion, he watched the creature, unsure why they were so aggressive. He hadn't been for the first time in a while, and it made him confused. However he still didn't pull away and if anything, moved even closer, sniffing at her. He snorted slightly, accidently blowing hot air directly into her face.

Want? He cocked his head to the side before turning to sniff at the weird coloration on her nails. What this? He asked in a rather childlike way, as if he didn't really understand language all that well.
