It has to be true
The tantalizing blue chrysalis shook slightly, once, twice, three times before stilling. After a few moments of silence, a small crack could be heard, slowly breaking open the side of the chrysalis before a very small, raggid looking pup crawled out. He whimpered softly, only poking his nose out of the chrysalis, keeping his body still inside, refusing to come out just yet.
He didn't know where he was, who he was, or what was going on, all those question circling around in his head. And that made him want to cry. He whined softly as he pinned his hears back, curling up within the egg like item he found himself in. He could see the water's edge from the opening, and that was calming enough to keep him from bolting and likely dying, but for now he remained hidden as best he could, minus his tail he didn't notice was peaking out.
I'm counting on youTo be my wings and my eyes
