He wasn't really sure what weird compulsion pushed him to explore these cold ass tunnels, but he was already regretting it. He huffed softly to himself, grumbling under his breath, not like there was anyone around to hear him anyway. Thankfully, the enchanted lantern around his neck gave off light and a small amount of heat, but not enough for his liking. At least not in the warmth department. He despised the cold more than most things.

And so, as he walked, he would take a deep breath, slowly feeling his body heat up and feeling his shoulders relax a little. Outwardly it caused him to steam a little, but that was about it. Nothing flashy or extravagant, simply something to keep him relaxed while he continued to pass through.

I used to think that the day would never come
I'd see the light in the shade of the morning sun

She wandered, as usual, but she didn't look so happy to be stepping through this cave, avoiding patches of moisture where she could, dodging around the ice and snow. Whenever it got into her fur, especially the longer fur, she couldn't focus on anything but the viscerally uncomfortable sensation of wet hair clumping, freezing her skin. She hated it. Sucks that so many caves connected here.

And she was on a mission. She'd survive some discomfort for the Collector's rewards.

And her patience quickly paid off, as she spotted a dark shape along the icy terrain, a dark against the light and a literal light agains his dark fur, which her eyes immediately jumped to. Curiosity piqued, she stumbled forward, excitement painting over the discomfort of wet paws.

"Hey!" she called as she skittered forward. "Can I ask you something?" Straight to the point, she didn't feel the need for small talk or introductions. She pointed at the lamp hanging around his neck. "Where did you get that?"

That my life would depend on the evening moon
That the night would never comе

He heard someone calling out for him and he raised a single dark eyebrow as he turned his head to peer at them over his shoulder. They looked like nothing more than a bumbling fool, and he wanted nothing more than to ignore them and walk away, but their question pointed at his lantern that hung around his neck and he had to stop himself from bristling slightly. He was very protective about his lantern, though he would never admit the sentimental value it held, a gift from his teacher.

The Blacksmith. He said simply, not bothering to explain anything more than that really. It wasn't that he cared if she got one herself, it was just that he was currently taking lessons from the man and really didn't want to feel like he was competing with others.

However that didn't stop the question from his own lips, watching her closely. Why?
