Adi had long wandered from his birthplace, now he roamed Polaris. Taking in the overwhelming sights and sounds of such a magnificent area. She wandered from place to place, adrift, but in all the excitement one thing became clear.

They were quite hungry, it seemed dirt and moss weren't enough for a growing gembound after all. Adi put their nose to the ground, sniffing intently for...anything. Fruit? Edible fungus? Some sort of tuber?

She didn't exactly care.

He slid his large body through the area, his stomach barely skidding across the ground as he stalked forward. His wings were pulled in, closed and settled against his back, not feeling like flying around right now.

However as he came across another, he raised an eyebrow, noticing them searching for something. Curiosity got the better of him and he ended up calling out as he slithered himself closer. Hey kid, whatcha looking for? He wasn't really sure if he cared to help the stranger, but maybe he could yoink whatever goodies they found.

@Adi
Adi wailed "I'm hungry!" as if Ketrix could make a feast spontaneously appear in front of them. Looking up from their search to face the other gembound, he gawped as if they were the most exciting thing she'd ever seen.

"Wowww! You're so small, like me! And you have uh- feathers and scales and-" Running excited circles around Ketrix, Adi continued to chatter with a twinkle in her eye.

"Where are you from? Do you like moss? Can you show me your gem? Can you be my friend? Do you want to find food with me? Do you like the color red? That's what my gems colored! Also green, green is fine but I like that it's red better, do you like your gems color? Oh! Oh! Why do we have gems? If I split my gem in half would there be two of me? Can I do that to you and see if there's two? Do you know Az- Az-zaz-re-el? Can you be my friend?" Adi seemingly didn't breath throughout their barrage of questions nor stop running, just kept on talking, it seemed once the little gembound got over the unpleasant experience of hatching he was full of energy.
