She wasn't really sure what she was doing here, it was absolutely terrifying being out here, and she wanted nothing more than to leave. She blinked against the alpenglow on the sands, hesitating for a moment before lowering her head and beginning to sniff.

She had no want to deal with anything dangerous, and it seemed like damn near everything here could and would kill her, so she would just have to focus on the smaller, easier to hunt creatures. And by that, she meant specifically the bone hare, as that was probably the only thing someone like her could likely hunt and bring back. At least she hoped so.

Somehow, on nothing except pure luck, she was able to catch the slightest scent of the rabbits, barely noticing it on the air, and as she lifted her head, that was when she noticed it scurrying across the lands. She lowered herself to the ground, stalking forward as she waited, calm and patient, taking a deep breath as she waited.

She watched the creature settle down, seeming to bathe itself for a moment and that was when she rushed forward, aiming to pounce on it, but it was much more flighty than she had expected and it bolted, making her gasp softly.

No no no! She really didn't want to lose this, and she bolted forward, running after the creature. It was much faster than her though, and she knew she would have to be smart about this. She watched it as it bolted, slowly following it as it ran through the sands into a small burrow.

She lowered her body to the ground and slowly laid there for a moment, watching and waiting, panting softly from the run. She had missed it, but at least she had tracked it. Now she just had to wait until it emerged again, and then she would attack it. No matter how long it took.

Hopefully nothing else came out to get her during this time.

She waited and watched, slowly calming her breath until she was barely moving, keeping her body still and relaxed. However she was still on guard, waiting for the perfect time. It felt like forever, and she almost was about to turn and leave, when she heard scurrying and she tensed slightly.

Slowly but surely she watched the rabbit emerge and she pounced without a second thought, pinning it down and killing it swiftly. Her face lit up and she smiled, picking up the creature and quickly turning to leave, careful not to draw any unwanted attention to herself.

She never wanted to be here ever again.
