The Olympics. An every-so-often event, apparently— one she had sort-of participated in, but not really because that was more just fighting and this isn't but whatever. Some of it is fighting! Just... not the part she was interested in.
Then again, here she was, prepping for the show. Most of the magic she knew was practical; it affected being, or plants, or the earth, so how was someone supposed to do something showy without a target? Obviously people can't target other people, so where does that leave her?
It leaves her herding Lessers. She's trying to, at least. Her main issue was that she didn't really know how to hunt; she knew how to catch but not how to track, not unless she knew what to look for, and all she was good at finding was things that really lead to nowhere.
But she could try, damn the world.
The makeshift jars and cages in her hefty sack (carried away from the Forum) weighed against her back, surely alerting everything around her. Again, terrible hunter. But it'd be enough if she could find and trap something, just get a hold of it and take it back to the forum where they could keep it for just a few days.
Her first step: cast out her senses after taking in a deep breath, try to locate some disturbance through the foliage. She didn't know the land too well; this wasn't Cepheus, after all. Again, trying, and she spread out her magic, feeling through the plants and shuddering at the sensation of touch, somewhere... Somewhere.
