ORIGIN

Why did he care about these bounties? Honestly he really didn't, not very much. What he cared about were the shiny coins, wanting to make his hoard of shiny things bigger. Sure, he didn't have much... nothing really... but there was always a place to start, right?

He narrowed his eyes slightly as he walked, searching for the shiny peppers against the matte green of the area around him. He huffed softly as he continued to walk, swishing his tail behind him, not finding what he was looking for just yet.

It took him some wandering to finally find what he was looking for, a patch in the ground with a single pepper growing out of it. Perfect.

He hated that he needed more than just the one, really not wanting to have to deal with this shit, but whatever, he'd do it anyway. Maybe he could bring the shinnies to Mother as a gift.

Picking the single pepper, he huffed softly and turned to keep walking, searching the lands.

Okay so he had one, that was progress.

He continued to walk for some time, cocking his head to the side as he did so. Sure enough he finally noticed another off in the distance, though he had almost walked directly past it.

He placed the one in his mouth down before pulling out the second one, adding it to the pile and continuing on with no issues.

Thankfully the last one wasn't too hard to find, just a few feet from the last one.

And so, as he gathered all three, careful to not accidently eat them (though he certainly wanted to) but that would be for later.

For now, he would take his small haul and take it back to turn in, content with his work.
