Reward:Tier 4 - Rare Character Slot, maybe with Optional Design Concept sketch, if Dark wants: (Jay is noting that the design was indeed received)
Semi-Aquatic Burrowing Crechur Design Vibes:
- General Body Shape: Eel+Ferret body shape vibes combined
- Very good
burrowing claws on the paw-adjacent limbs (probably four limbed for best land and water utility, though six-limbed would equally good if it works with the vibes)
- Has "headfins", which are practically speaking there for adjusting coverage of the creature's ear-holes, so that more or less input is received depending on the need for that type of hearing, which is more useful on land
- Their burrowing-leg-limbs are not used in swimming, tucked close to their body
- Their tail and their lean body is what they use for water maneuverability. Their tail has a set of vertical fins, which are probably closer to being shark-solid than beta-fish feathery-solid, and their movement in water is somewhere like if a shark was an eel... but was really a shark-ferret with a prehensile tail with shark-solid eel-axolotl tail and back fins that they use for easily adjust angles while swimming?
- Gills exist
- Sharp teeth, optional shark-row teeth if desired! ...Imagine if crechur-friend smiles with all the teeth...
- Some even amount of eyes... Maybe 4? or 2? or 6? one of those!
- Scaled, but small, fine scales. Not really distinctly visual, but the scales make the kind of unseen potential-sandpaper grain-esque type that makes the difference between smooth-to-touch and rough-to-touch depending on direction
- Coloration is like a chameleons, it can be used deliberately like camouflage with effort, but it comes way more naturally to act like a mood-ring. Closest to a 'default' is a mix of a variety of vibrant greens and blues displayed
- Could definitely have some spikes and spinies, but probably only in ways that won't be a detriment to water maneuverability
- Technically could live fully in water, but is naturally suited biologically towards enabling creating burrow-nest areas on land right near water, taking advantage of their semi-aquatic adaptions by leaving the water for the full-sleep-type rest they require
- While technically Semi-Aquatic, this creature would feel intense-itchy physical discomfort if not in water for a cycle, for sure, because they're made to be aquatic living for certain
