Aurelle nodded her agreement. "I hope they do turn out to be pretty," she said. "It'd be kind of sad if you collected them and they're ugly and gross." Of course it didn't truly matter if they could just exchange them for happy things, but it'd still be a little sad to have gross things hoarded in their home.

The elf crunched into the cherimoya again as they walked, idly slipping another slither back into Lichen's mouth with the same nonchalantness of passing a dog scraps of chicken at the dinner table. "I hope so," Aurelle admitted. She was really hungry for something hot.

But, sure enough, as they neared Scorpio, the smell of the market and tavern began wafting in the air. "Can you smell it?" She asked with some excitement. "The hot food?"

Tongue slithered out at an odd angle, likely due to the chunks of charimoya that were being chewed on. Regardless, Lichen could smell it. Scents of warm foods that she couldn't place, she'd never had any hot foods before, so everything was alarmingly unfamiliar. Yet, there was an appeal to it, she'd never smelt food so clearly, it's aroma had never been this strong unless it was rotten -- which hopefully this wasn't. It didn't smell like rot.

With little regard for food safety, she picked up to a prance as she pushed towards the exit into Scorpio.
