Slowly, Aurelle nodded. "Okay," accompanied it this time. She reached out and thread her arms around Lichen's neck, pulling herself up onto the dragon's back. She wasn't too heavy, thankfully-- not exactly feather-light, but it was definitely a feasible task to carry her home.

She could still feel the microbes all around her, but it was fading into a numb, sort of out-of-body feeling now. "Maybe we can take the cherimoya home and try again tomorrow," she mumbled, her words almost slurring tiredly together. When she rubbed at her face, her fingers felt too large and too thick to control properly.

"Thank you," Aurelle told Lichen as she took her back to Orion.

She'd be back to herself after a good sleep, at least-- in the morning, she'd be refreshed and ready to try again for a taste of whatever lurked within Scorpio's tavern.

Lichen does her best to aid Aurelle up, folding her wings back over the new passenger, to keep Aurelle from slipping off completely should she need to vomit once again; or should she pass out. It took some snuffling about, and almost dipping her feeler into a puddle, before she found the shawl-turned-bindle and collected it in her jaws.

All set, she'd turn back towards Orion, a slow but steady journey that would hopefully get them back safely. She'd once heard tales of a homing instinct in certain types of gembounds, she hoped it would be true for her too.

Once settled back safely, she'd attempt to encourage the already present growths on her back into something more edible; and ones that could be safely detached. They would be tiny and it would be exhausting, but there was hope for a breakfast without her having to abandon an already vulnerable Aurelle...

It would be a very small breakfast, and she'd slumber deeply for the trouble, but it was something.
