He beamed under the praise but then wondered what she meant by "good". It...yes, it had been good, right? It had cured the bit of hunger he was feeling, if that was what she meant? But he hadn't paid attention to any kind of taste, since he'd just kind of swallowed it down. But now that he was thinking about it more, he realized that he had tasted something. Um...fishy? Salty? But like good. Slimy in a way that was satisfying. "Yeah, it was good. I kinda swallowed it fast but I think I liked it." He would have to try out eating different fish, as she said. To see how different they tasted!

The prospect of eating land food was even more exciting, though. "Oh! Yes please! I would like to try it. Do you have a favorite land meat? Will you bring me your favorite?" He wondered if she had a favorite fish, too, but he wondered if she had ever tried one before, since they were under water and she had said she couldn't go underwater like he could. It made sense to him, then, that she'd never tried fish. "And I could bring you a fish in return? If you want to try?"

"Cold?" He thought about it for a moment. And he realized...yes he kind of was a bit cold. The water here was definitely colder then he wanted it to be, although he hadn't noticed with the adrenaline of his hatch and the hunt he's just performed. "Um, yeah a little. It's not bad, though. Just a little chilly."

@Aurelle

A favourite? Well, she had an un-favourite. But, maybe that sort of thing would be very appealing to Edgar. "I'll, ahh, bring a little of lots," she offered. "I don't have a favourite, though, so I'll let you taste as many as I can get. You don't need to bring a fish, ahh-- honestly, raw meat makes me a little queasy."

It didn't used to, but after experiencing cooked food, it was difficult to go back, really.

Edgar seemed quite okay, at least. "That's good," Aurelle nodded. "Now, ahh-- I think my partner will worry a little if I'm away from home much longer, but, ahh, I'll come by every day to check if you're around. I'll try and bring her, too!"

She nodded, mostly to herself. "Ahh, do you think you'll be okay?"

@Edgar
Edgar looked excited at the prospect of maybe getting a bunch of things to try and also to meet Aurelle's partner! He didn't know what that meant, really, but if it meant getting to know new people and having more friends, he was excited for it! Although he felt a little sad that he couldn't bring her something in return...maybe he would look for something anyways. Something nice from underwater. A cool creature or plant or...something.

He wasn't sure what you could find underwater that wasn't above water besides fish.

"Ok! I might explore a bit. But I'll come back and say hi for sure! I'd like to meet your partner. I'll tell you about all the fish I catch and all the things I find!"

He nodded, forgetting again that she couldn't see him moving his head around. "Yeah I think so. I'll stay away from mean people. And I won't leave the water. I'll be ok."

@Aurelle

Aurelle nodded gently, her hair bouncing. "Ahh, stay safe out there," she said, then immediately supplemented-- "well, ahh, I think you'll be okay." She didn't want him to think there was anything outwardly dangerous out there. To Aurelle, there wasn't. The worst was bumping into walls or getting a little too close to a territorial deer.

She didn't know what was in the water, but it couldn't have been that bad that Edgar couldn't handle it.

"Ahh, bye-bye, Edgar," she said cheerfully, stepping out of the water. She shook herself dry and then headed out. Pointedly, she forgot her bucket. If Edgar was still around within an hour or so, he'd see Aurelle quickly stumbling for her bucket, filling it with water, and carrying it back home with a sigh.

@Edgar
Edgar's eyes were bright as Aurelle wished him well. One final time, he raised his head above the water to speak - "I will! Bye, Aurelle! I'll see you around!" Once she'd said her goodbye as well, he didn't waste any time, excited, now, to get exploring. There was a tunnel that he wanted to go through and see, a promise of warmer waters elsewhere and sights to see! Fish to eat! People to meet!

The shark didn't stay in Pisces for more then a few moments as he dove deep into the lagoon and found the tunnel out. That was where he disappeared through, to follow where it led.
