The journey to Centaurus is not a pleasant one. Any distance through Hydra is a trial in itself, even if the Maw is not that far across the blasted sands. In order to make the crossing, Moros had to wait for as the cave lights dimmed, before the desert heat could fully be replaced by the chill of night. She would likely have to wait until they began to warm again to return.

But that did give her plenty of time to investigate. The Overseer had expressed some interest in the current state of the Nest's proving grounds, and while someone else would have to handle a more thorough search of Hydra, Centaurus seemed plenty inviting. At least, in it's current state.

What did Moros know, beyond it shifting on a whim, described as a lucid dream? Not much. So that was what she was here to find.

But that could wait a moment. She was exhausted from her journey, and she needed some sustenance. A rather large leaf seemed like a good enough spot to land, and then she'd focus to draw in energy she needed. But it seems to elude her, for right now.

...mmm just want food.

After mentally grumbling to herself in frustration, she flicks her antennae, crawling along the tree branch. The breeze is humid, but cool and pleasant. The plants are bright and vibrant, all thriving.

She was really wishing she still had a mouth. The leaves look really tasty here.

But as Moros usually does, she again has to settle for leaching the energy out of them instead. Refocusing, she's successful this time. It'll tide her over for quite a while too. Good. She can turn back to her work.

Can't disappoint the Overseer, can we?
