It couldn't help it- it snorted softly at Nemean's obvious surprise. Yeah, it was surprised at itself too. All of this was so stupidly reckless, and it was really betting on luck it definitely didn't have to get out of this unscathed. All for... what? The power to 'prove' itself? To who? Vargas? Draconua? itself?

Why was it doing this? Other than the simple fact that it had to?

"I can read." It confirmed, which wasn't exactly true, but it knew where to find those who CAN read, which was close enough. Maybe it should teach itself how to read? It hadn't expected the skill to ever be useful, but, evidentially, a number of powerful figures in the cave just kind of expected you to know how. Did that used to be a common skill? "I'll leave you to your important preparations."

Fourteen didn't need to be told twice- it turned and left. Thank GOD that was over. It'd have to check with The Collector soon- maybe after it got it's card as 'proof' Nemean was really trusting it- but it certainly wasn't going to do that right now. It needed a BREAK.
