She led the way towards some of the ancient buildings on the walls that were long-since crumbling. They were not far from the Tower, still in visible sight of the windows or even anyone standing at its base. The structures here were quite large, far enough away from the Forum that they were spacious and did not have to contend with the dense area of the Forum for room. She stopped a ways away and observe for a moment, feeling a deep welling of sadness seeing such structures so withered. She remembered when they stood much taller...

She looked over towards where the Sunstone had followed her and nodded towards the building. "Here they are. Your first task is to clear out the buildings. I believe you have carried my magic over, so you should have no problem."

The dinosaur-creature followed behind its Overseer, having to rush to keep up with her larger feet and longer strides, hissing in its frustrations that it could not keep stride with her. Pathetic!!

This whole thing was frustrating to it. It didn't want to work!! It was having a good time earlier kicking around its chrysalis shards and amusing itself by trying to throw it past, as close to Olivine as it could without hitting it. Because then Tectus would have yelled at them. Nah, harmless fun, all harmless fun!

But now it had to do a job? Ugh. It stood up taller as it looked at the building in front of it, eyes narrowing. "WHY." It squawked. What was the point of this? "Can't you do it? You're bigger. Get it done faster."

Tectus frowned, giving a warning growl to her spawn. Disobedience already. Hadn't she had enough of that? (She was beginning to see what Vargas was struggling so hard with.) "It's part of your training. You'll train, and you'll do something useful." She reached forward with a claw and picked up one of the smaller rocks. Grasping it tightly, she lifted the stone and smashed it against the ground a few times before it cracked and broke into pieces.

"There. See? It takes much more effort for me to break rocks - you can do it far easier and quicker with your magic. And you will strengthen it. Go on - start breaking!" She gestured towards the buildings in front of her, where much of the walls had caved in, or other stones had fallen from the ceiling or walls to pile within their interior.
