Azazel rested peacefully within his nest, one wing tucked safely over the arctic fox kit he had adopted, Sia. He didn't dream often, and he just sat in darkness and drifted along without rhyme or reason. A light appeared, and he swam towards it. Carmine eyes bolted open and he lifted his head quietly. There was a pull. A strong urge to create... life? Careful not to disturb Sia, he stood and nosed about in the nest. Nested next to one another was a shimmering green jadeite and a shard of someone's stone. Not just someone... Fisher's. Quietly and solemnly, the Ave took both into his talons, and he took flight, flying deep into the Chambers, the most secluded area of Canis. If he could somehow create life and new Gembound out of this stone, he would leave their chrysalises here. They would be safe.

Landing with the small clatter of gemstones hitting stone, Azazel nosed them towards the wall, giving each about five feet of distance from one another. First would be the seafoam green stone. For a moment, he was hesitant. Carmine eyes stared at the stone, and he closed them. Finding a dead Gembound... and his hopes and wishes to bring life to them once again. To revive them. When he opened his eyes once again, a strong pull of magicka tightened his figure. The chalcedony stone upon his frame glowed a bright red, all of the power in his body pulled towards it, then dispersed into the world.

The jadeite stone and cat's eye swallowed the magicka, glowing brightly in their respective colors. Both faded into the earth, leaving a small shimmering plate of the gem above the surface, though firmly lodged into the earth. Had he done it? Had he revived the dead and given new life? From afar, he gazed at the wall. How long would it take? The Bone King didn't know how long it would take for the chrysalides to develop and give birth. A cycle? He'd constantly check back. Shaking himself, he hobbled over towards the exit, but maybe he'd be stopped.

@Krakarak

He'd heard talk of this. Of gembounds giving stones. Aza'zel had mentioned something about it and now here he was to give his own stone for the purpose of creating new life. Pfft, new life. He thought Aza'zel had enough children but the thought of using his own stone and Aza's magic for making something that was their own... Well, that was different.

The raven hobbled forward, his gem talon clicking on the ground in an uneven rhythm. He had accepted it now. He would never walk the same again all because of him. Pfft. Today though it seemed that his talon was giving him special trouble. It ached and made him a bit more irritable than normal so when he limped up to Aza'zel his gaze was a bit sharper than normal.

"Azza Azza! What you do? Make more babies?" He clacked his beak together in slight irritation and in a rather dramatic fashion threw his wings up in the air. "So many damn babies! They everywhere! Krak Krak!" He tucked his wings back at his side and peered keenly at Aza. He wasn't a particular fan of them but if it was what Aza wanted he would do it. "But Krak like to see Azza Azza happy. So, he help make more damn babies for him! Krakaw!" He gave a slight grin before he tapped into his magic.

He lifted up his injured foot with the talon that the gem face tried to rip off and he used his beak and his magic to peel a sliver of it off which he then sat on the ground for Aza'zel. The magic and cleaving his gem hurt due to his old injuries and now it set up a fierce throb. He leaned to his uninjured foot and stared down at the stone, satisfied that he at least could have another raven to train.

The stones had faded into the rock of Canis, leaving only small plates as a memory of them. Maybe that meant they would grow to become living and breathing Gembound. Or maybe it was a sign that Azazel had done something wrong and lost the stones. He'd have to wait and see. Tilting his head, carmine gaze settled on the plates and he stared for a little while.

Well, as long as he could.

Krakarak hobbled up to him, and the Bone King felt a little bit of emotion surge through him for just a moment. His poor raven friend never could walk normally again, since that fight. Azazel had been watching out for a bird with a face who is mostly made of gemstone. The Ave wasn't one to provoke others anymore, but he'd make sure that someday that little pigeon learned a lesson.

The clicking beak of an irritated raven brought him back to reality, and he solemnly nodded. "Krak, I will definitely admit I have more children than I can keep track of." Well, goddammit. This probably was a bad idea, and he stared at the shimmering plates embedded into the rock again. He was about to protest when Krakarak had already peeled off a little piece of his gemstone and nudged it towards him. He could not resist that sweet little bird. So his magicka felt a strong pull towards the stone. Tendrils escaped the jasper at his tail's base, and they grew brighter and brighter.

It was too much.

Azazel felt as if his stone was being ripped off his body, and his magicka was being very forcibly siphoned into the amethyst gem that Krakarak had peeled off his talon. The stone flipped over and glowed a bright violet for just a moment before darting into the ground, leaving a smaller plate than the other gems. The Ave lay on the floor, sprawled out and panting. "Ah, damn that hurt!" Wasn't giving life supposed to be painless? But, here he was. His chalcedony stone literally ached and burned like fire. "I did not expect that."

@Krakarak

The raven watched as Aza'zel poured his own magic into the stone. But... It didn't seem to go quite as planned and the lammergeier seemed to be in a large amount of pain. Krakarak gave a few caws of dismay with his wings flapping and feet doing a jittery little dance on the ground. The black bird hopped over to his friend's side, dark eyes shining with concern. If there was one thing that was always true, it was that he cared deeply for the vulture.

"Azza Azza! You okay?" He leaned down, face only inches apart from Aza'zel's as he tried to examine him before plopping onto the ground in a cloud of dust. "Krakarak sit with you and make sure you okay. No move! Krakaw! Rest."

He knew that magicka was supplemental to stones, and it was what allowed them to birth their own physical shape... but he had not expected it to take that much from him. Azazel kneeled on the ground, blinking and hanging his head. Slowly, he looked up and found his favorite corvid. "I'm alright, Krak krak!" He wheezed and coughed for just a moment as a little bit of dust flew up his nose. Then he chuckled. "But if you insist, my favorite bird in all the Caves!" With that, he stumbled forth until he was close to Krakarak and put a wing over him and pulled him closer gently. With that, he fell asleep amongst what would become their new family.

[ EXIT AZAZEL VIA SLEEP ]

@Krakarak

When he told the vulture to rest he didn't expect that he would be taking a nap too but he certainly didn't mind one. Especially not when he was tucked into his brave Azza's side. He felt quite secure with the wing draped over his back, and his body nestled into the lammergeier's warm side.
