The lioness simply nodded her head, no words came to her at that moment. Well... No good ones, anyway. In time she hoped she could do what the Mother wanted and forgive him but if not... No. She didn't want to think about that. Didn't want to think about any aspect of it at all, really. What she wanted to do was move on with her life and not think about that cancerous feline. He was gone and hopefully would stay that way for a while longer.

This fellow was kind so she would judge him on that and nothing more. "I'd still be glad to have you along. Can't have you bleeding and in pain... now can we?" A bit of her old humor returned as she tried to force on a good mood. It was great when he gave a demonstration of his magic. Even with the awful vibrations that shook her head and caused a dizziness to rush over her head. It was distracting and nice in its own way.

The lioness shook her head, eyes closing as she tried to focus. "Very... Very interesting spell." She blinked and gave a shake of her entire body before continuing. "Sounds like you're manipulating the air... I have a few spells like that as well as a bird that I know." Hmm... the manipulation of air. What was it called again? "I believe that is called Pressure magic... You could even learn to do things like this with it." The lioness tapped into her magic and attempted to manipulate the air around her to make a bird call but it seemed that the magic failed her.

With a grin and nervous laugh she shrugged. "Well, I normally can use the Pressure element to mimic bird calls right down to a T but it doesn't work all the time. I'll show you later in Pisces." The lioness twitched her tail and tilted her head in the direction they should go before walking on again, the deer she snatched up in her mouth and dragged it along.

I didn't chuckle at her failed attempt, for I knew all too well what it felt like to summon what comes so naturally, yet still have trouble controlling it. It's disheartening to say the least. It's like a part of myself I cannot control, and that is a rather frightening and sad realization. Never the less, I was glad to finally put a name to my magic. Pressure. Perfect appellation for it. I gave a soft nod, a sweet smile, and walked along with the lioness toward the place she called pisces.
"thank you for your kindness, both as I was a newborn and even now - given the truth of some things. I'm certainly glad you gave me a name for my magic, I was beginning to give up on ever naming it."
I chuckled, shaking my head lightly as we continued walking. Each step was sure footed and careful, sound in my advance as I could not afford to misstep. I didn't want to wake the scars, for they'd scream relentless at me. For now, they whispered at me. I could not deny that makyna made me feel better, as if she was the motherly energy I had been missing my entire 2 cycles of life.

"It's no problem at all. I don't mind helping those who need it." And those as kind as he was. Even though his father was an attempted murderer he was still a nice fellow and she would be glad to continue aiding him.

Onwards she lead them until they reached the cave of Pisces.

i simply nodded and smiled in return as i helped carry what i could toward pisces, hoping that the lot there wouldn't drown me in terrible looks - or even looks of sympathy. either way, it' dbe good to get the full story -her story, and other's stories - on cancer and what had happened with cancer. i follwed makyna all the way to pisces.
