Noodle Dad did not know the answer to his question, which troubled the fisher cat, but he nodded all the same. "I will!" He swore as the massive noodle rose and bid his farewell before crashing back into the depths of the swamp.
Fisher glanced at his barkfriend and nodded quietly, tail swishing slowly. "We should get back to Fallah's gem," he suggested calmly, his mind whirring with the new knowledge and endless questions that churned in his stomach. It was good enough for now, he supposed, as he slunk back through the misty forest.
