BARATHEON
"the world is mine for the taking"
He could feel the trino being crushed beneath him. Her body easily dwarfed and squeezed by his own. Would she burn his belly scales again? Something that hadn't occurred to him until now... Or would she admit defeat? For a while all was silent, the trinoceros was underneath him and doing absolutely nothing. Had he killed her? Surely not... He wasn't that heavy, was he? He looked thoughtfully back at his own body before rumbling, "Are you dead under there? Can I get up or will you keep being a stubborn idiot?" Clear-headed again he wondered on the safety of Nemesis. She wasn't his enemy, no, not really. She was trapped by Monoceros just as he had been. They also both had something in common, they were guardians. Protecting creatures that they loved.
He heard her pain-filled scream then, full of absolute anguish. She'd had enough now. The dragon rose to his paws and walked away a few paces towards Polaris. He was free now, he could join the battle but... He looked back at Nemesis as she lay on the ground, crushed and broken. He looked back towards Polaris... Then back to her and with a sigh padded over to her. "By Ae'thiya's fangs... What am I doing?" He stood before her, head arched and wings pinned at his wide. He looked relatively calm, minus his ruffled fur and bleeding belly and paws. "Hey, you alright?" He snaked his head forward and sniffed at her burned flesh before snorting and pulling his head back distastefully.
His tail swung back and forth as he again tapped into an instinctual magic, borne from the need to heal himself. The spell cast wasn't particularly strong but even so it managed to heal the scrapes at his neck, and scab over the wounds at his paws, the gash on his belly was a tougher one to heal and the spell barely managed to condense it. It wasn't fully healed but a few of the scales pulled together to make it a less-serious wound that would heal nicely in time.
