Silence, that it what they lived in. Had they been awake during the time of silence? She could hardly remember now. All that sang to her was the soft and never ending rhythm of the warm world around her. She could move, ever so slightly. But she grew aware of her form. She had a tail? Some feet, and two big round eyes. Though all she could see was violet. Soft, pale and welcoming violet.

Were they still sleeping? This life seemed unusual, to float to the very rhythm that kept them alive. The rhythm that pulsed through their very being. To live suspended, in a world of soft color. It wasn't so bad, they were warm, well fed. Yes this was fine, there was no need to leave. Though had the walls always been so close now? Their form as developed? Small toes they extended outward to the pulsating walls. Had they always been like this?

Everything was still find, the soft rhythm now accompanied by what lay beyond the walls. A soft humming now accompanied them. They wouldn't leave, not any time soon.

He had ran, as far as he could from the red stag. Just as Clover had instructed, run and don't look back. He had managed to escape with Ambrus, the eaglet who has found their way home along the way. Though Vicktor was all alone. He couldn't cry out of fear of being found. That stag could have followed him. He felt so afraid now in the dark of Cetus.

He had luckily managed to aimlessly flee back home, it called him back after all. He could feel it. He lay hidden now beneath thick ferns residing in the fog. He could no longer stifle his sobs. He could let it out, just a little bit. He missed Clover dearly, he was afraid for her. What plans did the stag have, would he harm her? Would she ever come back? Soft cries erupted from his maw and he covered his face beneath his paws.

He missed her so much, what would he do without her. He was only a child, still naive about the world and all it held in wonder. He wouldn't hear anyone now, his cries made sure of that.

Firenze was staring at the jaguar hiding in some ferns a little ways from him, forgetting the rabbit they had chased down this hollow log. He had explored all of Eridanus earlier that day and met Basil, that eerie aardwolf and their scary prophecies, and then decided to take his time leisurely exploring this muddy, misty green place too. He expected to find someone else to interact with, but.... the other creature was....crying? Was he in pain? What was going on?

He walked towards him a little, hesitant, looking around. He had left Leon to travel on his own, but he wished the big bear was here now. Leon would know what to do, how to comfort the jaguar.

He walked more, but the crying one still didn't notice him. He took this pause to really look at them, maybe gather up his thoughts to say something nice.

The jaguar was...somewhat around the same age as him? He looked older and bigger, maybe. Firenze was incredibly unsure. It wasn't as if he had anything to compare it too, having only met two big bears. The cub was....nice looking though. He tilted his head. He felt like they could be friends.

He coughed, feeling uncomfortable. "Are....are you okay?"

"Speech"
His muffled cries gave him little notice to the small coyote approaching him. He couldn't hear anything over his beating heart, it felt as if it was nearly in his throat. Let alone paired with the gross sobbing that effortlessly left his maw. The coyote approached again, pausing to stare at him now. Still he did not notice, nor did his instincts elect to inform the young jaguar that he was being watched. That was until it spoke. 'Are....are you okay?'

Wet white eyes shot up to see a young coyote standing nearby. It appeared visibly uncomfortable, but it was so young. Just like him, maybe he was trying to be his friend? Vicktor could really use a friend now. Standing up abruptly he wobbled to his feet. Visibly shaking with the anxiety that coursed through his veins. "I-I don't know....I'm all alone now! I-I miss her!"

He tried to communicate all that had went down back then with Clover. Only managing to explain something about her being taken by a big red stag. He could barely keep it together, sobbing almost immediately after repeating her name! He just wanted her back, that was all that was on his mind. He felt so bad crying in front of a new friend, he didn't want to make them sad too!

Firenze's ears fell back against his head when the jaguar turned to him with tear-filled eyes. What-what was he supposed to do? Comfort them? How?? And then a stream of broken words and sobs erupted from them, and Firenze almost shrunk slowly, bit by bit, against the wet ground. What was going on? He didn't understand what they were saying! Something about a clover going missing, and the jaguar missed them? What?

But then, as he listened, it made sense. He pieced it together. The kid missed their Leon. His Leon was taken away. That, he could understand. If someone took Leon from him, he'd get mad and sad too. Probably more mad, though. His body language relaxed, and he moved towards the kid hesitantly.

With a unsure paw, he gave the crying jaguar a loose hug. "I'm sorry you miss her. I have a dad, a big great, amazing bear dad, and I would be really upset if they were kidnapped too. Especially if I couldn't do anything about it."

Releasing the kid from the hug, he then got an idea, and he got really excited about it! He broke out in a wide, laughing grin and said, "Hey, maybe I could help you rescue her! Haha! A coyote and a jaguar? Yeah, we'd beat that stag with our paws tied behind our backs!"

"We'd have to get tougher and bigger though...but we could rescue her! What do ya say?"

He wondered if Leon would approve of him, be proud of him. He hoped so!

@Vicktor
The young coyote was so uncomfortable in this situation, it only made Vicktor feel worse! Watching their eyes fall back against their head. Watching them sink slowly into the same moist ground. He felt so bad, what a terrible day this was shaping up to be! Though it seemed the young coyote was piecing together the story Vicktor was trying to tell. Between all the broken hiccups and loud sobs it is a wonder the little guy figured it out at all! Slowly they relaxed and moved closer all the while.

What almost startled Vicktor was a tender paw, giving him a loose hug. His kind words about having an amazing bear dad and that he to would be feeling the same if anything were to happen to them. They had broke out in excitement, a wide grin as they offered to help rescue her! 'A coyote and a jaguar? Yeah, we'd beat that stag with our paws tied behind our backs!'

Vicktor wasn't so sure, the both of them would have to grow up and fast! Sniffling the last bit of his tears away he stood up. Yeah! They would take down that stag! Eyes drying slowly as he gave his coat a quick shake. He was snapping out of this rut! He and his new friend would go and save her! Only when he recalled the situation, he could remember Clover telling him to never turn back and that she would be fine, she would find him again. His heart sank, he would had to listen to her. He promised her he would! His ears laid flat against his skull as he sunk back into the moist ground.

"I promised her that I would listen...so i have....to wait for her to find me..." It definitely wasn't the most exciting or best of plans. But he would listen to Clover, to his very last breath. Abruptly though he got a thought, maybe they could stay and keep him company? Play and become friends until he could hear or even see her glow in the distance of the fog! "Would you, want to stay and wait with me? Maybe even play so we don't have to think about it? OH! My name is Vicktor! What's yours!?"

(( Thanks again for the table, man oh man is it pretty! ))

He made a face. Waiting didn't sound all that heroic. He wanted to go in and save the damsel in distress, not wait for her to come to them! That seemed, oh, kind of boring to be honest, in comparison.

But then he said his name was Vicktor, and that they wanted to play to pass the time! That sounded a lot better! "Oh! The name's Firenze! My dad's name is Leon, and my brother's name is Grimm. Maybe, if you think your Clover is taking too long, we can maybe ask for their help? Two strong bears would do the trick, I think."

His tail waved back and forth in excitement. "But I'd like to play! I haven't had a playmate yet! What do you like to play?"

Vicktor's mood seemed to be much improved, he thought with some measure of pride. He at the very least comforted someone when they were feeling down, even if he didn't rescue the damsel. Leon would be happy, he thought. Just seeing Vicktor's sad and lonely and surprised expression immediately bloom in a wide grin because of his words made him feel really good and brave and happy, himself.

"Speech"
He finally had a name to put to his new coyote friend! Firenze! "You have a very cool name!" Idly dancing and bouncing from paw to paw Vicktor listened to his new friend. Two big bears should be more than enough! But, Vicktor had never seen a bear. Or even knew what they were, just that they were a gembound of some sort. Maybe they had wings? Who knew? But he would keep that as an option, if Clover was taking too long he would be sure to ask the two bears for help!

Watching his friend's excited tail wave back and forth Vicktor attempted to do the same. Only his thrashed around, as most cat tails do when the excitement of play is nearing. He would love to play! "Yes yes! Lets play tag!" Before much else could be done Vicktor tapped Firenze and jumped back from him. Wiggling to and fro as he ran around. Being sure not to go running off into the bushes, wouldn't want to get lost now.

"Thanks!" He grinned widely, tilting his head. He liked that others liked his name! It wasn't as if he really chose it, per se, but that he knew it was his, and it made him happy that someone else thought it was just as good as he did! "It just sounds really...really fiery, I dunno why! Like me! I can make myself really bright and hot, can you? And I think your name is really great too!"

Before he could talk more, Vicktor moved really quick and touched him, then ran away! He laughed and gave chase, remembering the rabbit he caught hours and hours before. He was good at catching things, he thought!

But man, maybe he wasn't as quick as he thought, maybe that rabbit was just easy to catch, because Vicktor running ahead of him was as fast as lightning, disappearing into the bushes and the fog like he was born here! After a few seconds of losing sight of his new friend, he stopped and looked around. "Hey! Where'd you go?" He called out, peering as best he could through the mist.

"Speech"

@Vicktor
'I can make myself really bright and hot, can you?' So his new friend could make fire? Huh, that sounded really painful if he made himself really hot! But it must not bother him that much if he does it! Though in the heat of the moment and for the sake of the game he was already out of ear's reach of his friend. Stoping only a few moments after, expecting for them to come jumping out of the mist at any moment! Only they didn't? Did he lose them?

'Hey! Where'd you go?' He could hear him now, just a few meters away. Though with the fog being so thick the young coyote couldn't see him. Laying flat on his belly he stalked through the fog, slowly speaking to his friend. "Im....right...in...front...of...YOU" With a loud HAHA! Vicktor leaped over Firenze, coming to a dirt piling halt on his feet. Turning around wiggling on his paws as he waited to be caught! Though Vicktor would have to be careful! Wouldn't want to fumble over his paws now with all the excitement now! Though he could do this for hours, get tagged and jump around playfully only to tag the coyote back again. Tag was such a fun game!
