He watched Basil run and frowned. Huh. Apparently he had something else to do. Something really urgent.
The spell was starting to really hurt by now, so he stopped it, since his only audience left to do...something else. His eyes and his mouth and his skin stung and felt raw, and he really felt like he needed another nap. Thankfully he didn't use it for very long - he didn't want to think about the consequences of a long-term use of that spell.
But hey, he tried out something new and it was as easy as breathing! He felt elated and proud of himself.
Renewing his determination, he resolved that he needed to keep looking for his ghost. He knew what to look for now, a black-coated young demon and his pure white charge. Shouldn't be too hard! In this open jungle, a white coat would stand out like a sore paw, and any noise that the two might make would definitely help.
He made his way around, searching high and low, keeping his eyes and ears open. He had no idea what sort of size reference he should keep in mind - perhaps they were both small, like Basil. Easily hid. That was no matter, with his excellent rabbit hunting skills, he would find them in no time!
