From the clap-clap thunder looking down The child shifted nervously the past few days had been a whirlwind of changes. She'd been given a name from her mother and she had expected them to stay in their home that had been dubbed Eridanus, but something had pushed the mare to move them. Of course Rauslin wouldn't voice her complaints, but she was fearful all the same. Her tiny legs had tired quickly and after many stops and goes she found her scruff clutched firmly between mother's teeth. This had made things easier, her body curled and eyes able to watch the slow change of scenery. It was when they had passed through the crystal place that made her insides tingle that intrigued her most. They had passed through that place quicker than she would have liked. Now they were here, the air was moist and held a chilly nip and the ground was wet. Rauslin knew this because she was no longer being carried, her plump body gave a wriggling shake to wake her legs up. Rauslin slipped into a stretch which resulted in a prolonged yawn before shifting her attention to her dark mother. The female had begun to move off throwing glances over her shoulder as she went, clearly a hint that she needed to catch up “Momma Waaaaiiiit.” She wailed as she scurried forwards, she was unwilling to be left alone. As they moved an unsettling feeling rushed over her, a sense of what was there or rather of who was there and there was anther who than just her mother. She lifted her face breathing in deep trying to pinpoint a scent to this unknown presence. Eventually though she found herself face to face with said presence and boy was he large, larger than mother. The pair exchanged pleasantries and Rauslin did her best to show disinterest and not the fear the she felt coiling in the pit of her stomach. After the adults seemed to finish their conversations she had expected them to take their leave, instead Delphine stepped back allowing for the large male full access to her. Pale eyes shifted to her mother in confusion and betrayal. Of course they didn't linger there long as her body dipped low and she pinned a fearful glare on the male before her. |
