The closer they came to Eridamus, the more Maeve's stomach began to grumble. Eagerly she flared her nostrils and almost couldn't stop herself from charging forward into this place of delightful smells. But caution won out over hunger and she stayed all but glued to Eve's side, not wanting to abscond from her small herd. Still, she couldn't help but lower her muzzle to where the rocky tunnel had given way to moss that was pleasant to walk upon.

Silver-blue eyes peered into the damp greenness and she looked back to Eve, a question in her eyes. "Imeve, food?"

@Eve

OOC: Sorry its so short. Openings are my weakness.

Unfortunately (for Eve) there was no aggressive gembound waiting to murder her and the filly - in fact the journey was a mild success. Hobbling into the brighter maw of mosses the crow gave a soft croak of contentment. "This is Eridanus, the squawked. "Watch out for the birds here. If it doesn't speak it's food."

The crow looked around before spotting a tree that had a dozen or so yellow-orange fruits hanging from it's branches. The bird unfolded her wings. Stay here," she said moments before taking off and fluttering up into the leaves of the tree.

Eve wasn't very good at harvesting fruit; she had assumed that if someone needed something they'd always be able to get it - which seemingly excluded Tal'at, who was blind, and the horse below, who seemed to lack wings.

She peered down to check. Yes, definitely no wings.

She pulled at a fruit, even digging her talons into it, to yank it off the branch. It was surprisingly heavy and a pain to carry during flight - especially when it's so hard to carry herself in the first place. Half-falling and half-slapping the crow lowered herself back down to the horse, her front dripping in a sweet-smelling juice. "Food."
