New Skin Winner (Skinner?) and Quest Achievements!

Thanks to everybody who participated in the Origin Triathlon - it was an interesting experience and gave us some important feedback with regards to contests and how to execute them in the future. Not to mention it was really fun! Here's the winners for each contest:

Congratulations, everyone! The winners may claim their respective prizes in the Update Me! thread. Due to the low number of entrants for the skin contest, we decided to forego the runner up prizes. Sorry!

Characters have been assigned for the costume contest! Once you know which character you're writing, be sure to write up a post that you can anonymously submit to the Origin Cave account via pm! You can title it "Costume Contest", or you can reply to the PM that was sent. Remember not to tell anybody which character you got!

Inktober is still going on over in the art forum! If you want to flex those art muscles of yours, head on over and give it a shot! It's never too late to join in!

The activity check has ended, and so the member list will be revised accordingly. Thanks to everyone that posted! If you've been moved to inactive, you can always request to be reactivated in the Applications forum or just in the cbox, but you'll need to post that day (anywhere on site, OOC or IC) to prevent yourself from being sorted to inactive again.

Due to some recent confusion, there's been a change in the rules regarding mutations. It isn't big: requests for mutations must be made via PM instead of over the cbox. If you ask the staff about mutations over the cbox, we will insist that you send us a PM, because it's easier to track what is discussed. We have also set up a mutations thread in the staff forum to keep track of what is decided on. Hopefully this will clear up any confusion in the future!

Do you wanna be a part of Origin's staff team? Are you really great at keeping on top of things (unlike Madison)? Do you like doing tedious, repetitive tasks and throwing everything you're currently doing aside to help Madison out with news posts and being yelled at while Madison drinks coffee and slams her fist on the desk and has a moustache? (Just kidding! But about what?) Then maybe you should check out our staff search!

The Quest Achievements for The Beast's Best Friend and The Fiery Pit are here! If your character has participated in the last parts of those quests, you qualify for the achievements! (Also, we added the quest completion activity to character profiles today, so if you see that at the top of your recent activity, it means you can claim an achievement!)

A beautiful ceremony marks the eternal union of Leon the bear and the Makyna the lioness, and everyone's invited! We're looking forward to a thread that's bound to make anybody that reads it cry, because honestly, who doesn't cry at weddings? Keep your eye on this thread for some maximum cuteness!

King of the Dragons
Dragon thinks that he can climb the spire; he tries, and he gets pretty far before tumbling down to his demise. Well, it would've been his demise, but we think he can get out. Hopefully. Oh wait, here comes Fisher! Nevermind, they're both probably going to die.

All Those Things I Didn't Say
Deaf horse meets adorable mute butt-wing noodle. All in all, this is a really great thread to read because both characters are forced to communicate through strictly body language, which makes it interesting not only to observe but to see how each character interprets the others' actions. Also, it's Fisher's daughter, so lets hope nothing goes catastrophically awry.
