TENNESSEE
"Oh give me a home where the buffalo roam,
Where the deer and the antelope play"
Where the deer and the antelope play"
The lemur sat up and dusted himself off, fixing his his hat and finally standing up again. Now it would be an even bigger bruise but that was fine. "That's plan, friend! Well that an' they can be used as meat too... but only if'n I can get my hands on'em. I gotta get one t'ride so I can get a herd 'a others! When I get it all sorted out it'll be a right good operation I can tell ya that much!" His voice was absolutely excited as he explained what he wanted to do.
At the wolf's less than kind words Tennessee didn't get horribly angry or even annoyed... in fact, he laughed. He found it funny that he was thought of as a strange rat. "A strange rat? That's a good'un! P'raps I've been 'angin' around Daisy too long! Speakin' of! Daisy-girl! Get on over here! Stop hasslin' that young man for 'is food!" The Red Rat gave an irritated murmur before getting up and going to sit at Tennessee's side.
His attention then turned to the bear, a bright smile on his face. "Well, I thank ya kindly for th'compliment." He reached up and touched the brim of his hat respectfully in acknowledgement of the bear's words. "An' anyone that wants t'collaborate with me would be most welcome! I reckon it'll be a lotta hard work though," He reached out with a paw to indicate the scorched, barren land. "But it'll be worth it. Imagine! This place set up with vegetation an' all sorts of deer! The Tunnel Runners, Jungle Deer, some Woolly Deer, maybe even some Marsh Striders... Just gotta find'em an' bring'em here along with some dirt an' all that stuff... But I'm gettin' ahead a' myself." He reached down and pet the top of Daisy's head with a paw. "Name's Tennessee, friends. Could I be as bold as t'ask yer names?"
