So in order to have some good sized teams, I'm assuming Amaria, Arkrael and Liora are also here (I'll post with Liora tomorrow and say she came in after Aza'zel). Basically, your characters will have to make an attempt to steal the ball, carry the ball some distance, and score it. I don't have any special guidelines, so be reasonable!
Leon's Team consists of Leon, Quintus, Amaria, and Liora; they are protecting Baratheon's goal and trying to score on Kerberos.
Fisher's Team consists of Fisher, Arkrael, Aza'zel, and Bartos; they are protecting Kerberos' goal and trying to score on Baratheon.
To start the game off, the first person who posts and rolls a minimum of Barely Successful to take the ball will therefore have it. You are encouraged to post as often as possible in order to progress the game. There is no deadline - the game will be best of 10 scores. HAVE FUN!!!
The bear gazed blearily around at those that had followed him - it seemed a good portion of them had come from the wedding party with him, but some unfamiliar faces were beginning to show up as well. That was no problem! They could join in the festivities too! Leon wanted everyone in the cave to join in! Imagine if they could play a whole cave-wide game of foobaw... Oh but he was getting ahead of himself, glancing briefly over at Makyna and Quintus who looked like Makyna and Makyna and Makyna and Quintus and Quintus and Quintus and cracking open a broad smile at all six of them as Makyna started to sing about the stars, and then their game of foobaw, and he laughed and sang with her until Quintus stuck his head in the vase for a taste of the bitter liquid himself. Makyna tried to push him away, but Leon laughed and raised a paw, batting at Makyna. "Shhhhh! Let'im have some, istime the boy became A Man!" Leon declared proudly.
Out of the corner of his eye, he'd seen Baratheon come waddling in and pass out, only for a little coyote to run in after him and ask what was happening. His attention didn't linger for long on them. Soon he saw Clover walk in with Bartos on her back, and they were singing too - or were they just repeating some word over and over again? He almost joined in but then Fisher had come charging up yelling at him, and had Leon not been completely pissed out of his mind, he probably would have been a little worried. Instead, he only laughed and laughed, clutching his chest and leaning back as the laughter shook his body. By the time Fisher had finished his challenge, Leon leaned forward and reached for Fisher in an attempt to flip him back onto his feet. "Okay," He giggled. "Okay-" He was trying to think of a comeback, but honestly Leon was still too busy giggling.
He only managed to slow down, wiping tears from his eyes when the little bat Tal'at had come up asking to be a referee. Leon barely gave him time to speak before nodding vigorously and waving his paws in the air. "YES! THE BAT WILL REFERREUS!" He half shouted half slurred and fumbled onto his paws, glancing around at those gathered. At some point, Aza'zel had flown in yelling about foobaw, and Kerberos too had drunkenly wandered in and plopped down on the opposite side of the court. Leon pointed at Baratheon and shouted again, "DIBS!" Before waddling out to the center of the field.
"AWRIGHT AWRIGHT, LETS SORT THIS INTO TEAMS, MR FISHER CAT *HIC* I CALL QUINTUS AND AMMY AND, AND YOU GET AZA'ZEL AND ARKRAEL *HIC* BAARRTOS!" Wait a second. That team wasn't even. Leon blinked and narrowed his eyes at the gathered Gembounds. Who else could he put on his team? "HEY YOU, KID," He called over at the black bird that had flown in after Aza'zel, the one that had tried to sit on his back that one time when they listened to the Lorekeeper's story. "YYYOU'RE ON MY TEAM, COOL?" Hopefully.
Clearly his throat, Leon looked between the teams and nodded decisively. "OKAY! Thhhiiiis is how its gonna go, my team tries to score on KErby-ros and Fishy's team scores on Baratheon, we have a ball, and each team tries to have the ball, and whoever has the ball has to get it past Kerberos and Baratheon, but you gotta steal the ball before the other team scores-" Was this even making any sense? "-AND UH, best of ten scores wins, OKAY? and PLAY FAIR!" The bear yelled, clapping his paws on the ground in order to emphasize the importance of playing fair. Right. Now... where was that ball?
...The ball. Leon's eyes widened, glancing around the group. What the hell were they going to use for a ball? "UHHH.... JUS'SEC," Leon fumbled, rising to his feet. As quickly as he could, the bear stumbled over to the nearest building - they were bordering the playing field in abundance, and searching through them he eventually found a large piece of dusty cloth. Scooping a pawful of dust and dirt into it, he made a big enough pile and then clumsily tied the corners of the cloth together to make for a loose sac of dirt. Good enough. Leon grabbed it in his teeth and came running back out into the field, proudly plopping the ersatz ball between the two teams. "There! BALL!" He declared and moved to situate himself in front of Amaria, Quintus and Liora. "Okay, ready, set............. GO!"
