ORIGIN

Laughter filled the Forum. Little paws trampled around in the arena that was surrounded by what she would assume to be seats. It had been a couple of days since she was taken to see Polaris. Of course, she didn't get to see much as they had found themselves with a group. A group who had been gathered near a strange light that had been talking. Cure hadn't seen much of it, she had only heard words and had answered accordingly. Now she could do something fun! Not that she could see it, but she knew she could do it. She could change the color of her eyes! Quickly, cure skidded to a stop and looked for the grasshopper she had been chasing around for what seemed like forever now. To no avail had she been able to catch it, but that was okay. She wasn't really hungry for a snack anyways.

With a wide grin, Cure lowered her head and began to concentrate. Excitement coursed through her as she could feel her magic begin to swell, and just barely caught the glimpse of her cheek spikes flashing to life as they normally would when she used her magic. She laughed merrily and began tromping around again, pouncing at anything she saw worthy of her attention. Her eyes had faded from sapphire, bleeding into a soft crimson, but the color did not last. It was all unbeknownst to her of course as she could not see it. For now she happily continued to play in the arena. The one place that she had yet to fully explore outside of the cliffs high above and the tower. For a moment she wondered where her parents were, surely by now they were trying to find her and bring her back to their designated 'you must stay in this place' area.

Her laughter filled playtime seemed to draw to a close a sudden new scent quickly drew her attention. Once more she skidded to a stop, but this time she whipped here gaze around to look at the approaching creature. Her jaw fell open as she had to tilt her head back just to be able to look at the large thing entirely. He was probably the biggest thing she had ever laid eyes on! "Wow! You're huge!" She commented rather quickly, almost ignoring his first inquiry as she was stunned into awe by his sheer size. She had never seen anything like him either! An those things on his head. He had horns to? Would her's get to be that big and like those?!

She moved, turning to fully face the giant creature and she plopped down on her rump to make it easier to look up. Finally she smiled widely up at him, happy and carefree as usual. "Yees I know where I am! I was born here! Not to far from here actually," She commented, lingering on with her answer towards the strange creature. "What are you? I've never seen anything like you before! Do you think my horns will be sorta like yours?! Those things look sharp!" She grinned again as she lifted her paws to reach up and touch at her own quad horns almost as if she were imagining them to look like this creature's horns.

"Do you know my mama?" She soon asked thoughtfully. Most gembounds she had been meeting around her seemed to know her, so maybe he would know her too? If not then, that was okay too! So far she had met some pretty interesting people! Her tail twitched and swished around with her thoughts as she watched the stag with expectant eyes.

So this guy was a deer, was he? How interesting. Her tail continued to flick back and forth as she contemplated his next question. Idly her gaze moved, lingering over towards the Throne that could be seen easily from down here. "I was born up there behind the throne! We have an awesome den up there! My daddy made it!" She began as she turned her smile back up towards the stag, but the sudden change in his eyes caused that same smile to slowly dwindle away. Lesser beings? Cowards? The words that were slipping from the stag's mouth was slowly becoming not so nice and Cure found herself sitting uncomfortably before the creature as he seemed to come closer and closer.

A frown began to mar her features when he began to claim everything was his. Absolutely not! Her fur ruffled along her spine, ears pinning back against her head to expose the quadhorns all the more better. "No it's not! You can't just claim everything as yours! My home is mine! And mama's and daddy's! And my twin's! You can't own everything!" She spat as she rose to her paws and bristled up at him. "And who's running?!" It wasn't familar to her, the anger that was suddenly consuming her as she listened to this thing start to grow not so kind. She wasn't exactly sure what a slave was, but she definitely that her family was not filthy!

"The only one that is filthy here is you!" She snapped, fur standing on end as her tail lashed around in her anger. No one would get away with calling HER family filthy! Not while she was standing there! of course... she was far to young to understand that she was by no means any threat to the stag in front of her. In fact... she should have probably ran the moment she saw the look in his eyes...

OoC: smallish post, but it got theh job done~

The stag glared down at the hapless young cub. "How unfortunate you can't see it my way... the true way. You carnivores are poisoning this world with your denial." Her insolence was wearing on his patience. It showed by the way the gem at his chest was starting to flicker colors from the normal clear to red.

She dared to swipe her filthy paw at him? Those gray-blue eyes blazed and he snorted irritably. "I warned you." With that he swiped his left topmost tine at the small feline aiming to, if not hit her, then at least scare her into submission. He had no time for these stupid carnivores. "Now, say what I told you to say or I will do something much worse than swipe you, filth." Voice was still eerily calm but it was obvious by his gem and the rage in his eyes that he was becoming unhinged.

Fear was beginning to wrap itself around Cure. Her limbs trembled in just the slightest as her ears were now firmly pressed against her skull. She had to get out of here! This guy was insane! A strangee sound came from her when the stag lashed his antler's at him. The tip of his sharp tine just barely catching the top of her nose, but it was enough to make it hurt and a bit of blood to bubble up. "No!" She cried out stubbornly as she suddenly scrambled away from him. She had to run!

Instantly she turned on paw and with no other hesitance she bolted away from him. Her little legs desperately racing across the Arena and towards the fastest way home. Tears began to bubble up in her eyes as she struggled to ignore her wildly beating heart. She was in so much trouble! For a split moment she knew, she knew she had only one chance to get away. "DADDDYY!!!" She cried out loudly, desperate to grab her father's attention from way up by the throne. That is...if he was even up there still. She had no idea if he had already noticed she was gone from thee den and had gone out looking for her.

In her panic Cure did not quite pay attention to where her paws were going and when she leaped up to the first step of the seats that surrounded the arena her foot caught a loose set of stone. A pained yelp escaped her as the stone gave out from under her paw, sending her falling back and landing awkwardly on her left front paw. Pain instantly shot up from her ankle and she cried out again. Quickly she scrambled, trying to push herself up to her legs though when she put weight on her now injured ankle she nearly fell over once again. No, she couldn't think about it! She had to go! She instantly turned, trying to find a better way out of the Arena as she now limped off in a hurry.

OoC: She's gonna try to run, but you obviously can catch her XD next one can be where he threatens to kill the others if she doesn't go with him :O if you want

He barely nicked her and yet she screamed like a stuck pig... rather, a stuck carnivore. He stopped his hoof in annoyance. "Silence! Or I will show you the true meaning of pain..." He would. There was no doubt about that. However... It would seem that he would get he chance to truly show her as the insolent young cub tried to run away.

He watched her scramble for safety... safety she would never reach. Hmph. Her "daddy" couldn't save her now. "Fool." He growled before focusing on his spell. He could feel the water inside of the cub, water that he began to pull and tug out of her... Not enough to kill her but enough to dehydrate her and hopefully cause her to collapse.

He had plans for her... Big plans.

He didn't have Beast anymore... but he would have her and if things went right he would no longer be hampered in his plans.
