(( That new table is so A+ oAo ))
Cayenne listened, nodding here and there. Cure, huh? She wouldn't mind having a name like that, she thought with a wry smile. But she stopped smiling when she imagined this small once cycle old cub being stomped and slashed. Granted she wasn't much older than that, but Cayenne had never been young. Empty of knowledge, yes, but she thought of herself as having an old soul. Any chance of being a child was ruined when Dove told her what she was.
If she ever met whoever Hasira was...she clenched her fists that held a bunch of Arkrael's fur.
"She doesn't have any broken ribs, does she? That might be why she's unresponsive." She asked quietly, feeling bitter. Fighting was one thing, but hurting a child was disgusting.
Cayenne slipped down from the wolf's fur to the soft forest floor, and looked up at her. "I'm glad you protected her, Arkrael." She said. Then she turned towards the ferns and felt the war through to the small intimate den inside. The scent of freshly dug earth attacked her nose along with something else, and as she let her eyes adjust, she saw a cub looking at her intently from the farthest possible corner of the den.
"Hello, Cure," She said softly, tilting her head to study her. "I'm here to heal you."
